Probably? Seems so. I kinda got worried with some of my guys, using that right at the start of the fight. Immediately they've got NOTHING left. I thought I had it set up so they'd go Essence Exchange and then have attacks which are stronger based on less HP. I don't wanna give it to Elma, I need her out there bringing the house. She's been going down sooner than Lin though lately. Sad.

EDIT- Oh, and I meant to post a few days ago how I got in this group (online) with this awesome chick who had her crap together. Just the two of us, I think we only did two missions (MAYBE 3), and I was kinda bummed that I couldn't add her directly to my Friends List, at least not in a way that I did. So I went over to the Player Affinity Chart and saw that "Bix" was nearby, clicked on it, and-- HAHA, OF COURSE its Mop_it_up! Pretty awesome.

I plan to play tonight. Maybe we'll get lucky and some more missions we can handle will pop up.

What Lv are you? I try to get stuff that I know My Buddies can handle. Lou is a good 10-11 below me, so there reaches a point where he can't hang with me anymore. What time exactly? I could play later instead of earlier.

The first time someone in the game said something about meeting Mr. Mustache I actually thought it was some kind of online feature I didn't know about and Mustache's character was in my game somehow. But then I realized that is what they call the commander dude sometimes.

I finally got my skell last night. And promptly turned it into a motorcycle and drove into the "water" of NLA.

So fun!

Skells sure drive like crap on ground. But that's okay, they start moving much better pretty quickly

Oh yeah, advice for people starting out. Ya know that character you hate and shun and don't put in your party? In my case, this was Gwin. He looks and acts just goofy to me, so I've ignored him. Right up until I was required to have is affinity up for a required affinity mission before a story mission. Grr...

Yeah, I've been trying to give everyone fair play after I maxed out both Elma and Lin before I even hit Chapter 5. I've got most of my people up over 3 right now, though some of them are still down in "Barely 2" territory. Found out the hard way (?) that Phog and Frye can't party together for some reason. I have suspicions that maybe they will later on, but yeah, I don't get it. Shh!

Gwin, his lady friend, and Murderess are probably the next 3 I should take out, though Doug and Boze need some attention, too. Hmmmm...

Seriously, I can't find it. I hit PERFECT! right before it exploded, which I thought was supposed to be a good thing..but....yeah. I don't know whats going on with it. And now I'm afraid to buy a new one.

To compound matters, I was pretty tired last night, so I hope I saved correctly before shutdown..

@Mr_Mustache Go to the same console in the barracks that you use to customise the barracks, and select the hanger from it. There, your Skells with insurance will be repaired when you access the hanger. You can also use this menu to assign Skells to characters and customise your Skell, such as its name, artes, colours, etc.

Oh, also, it was nice we got to run a good amount of missions the other day! Rackin' up those points in no time!

Yeah, we can always run stuff. I like going with you because our Arte selections seem to match up well (EDIT- In addition to you being a good player who knows how to play and stuff, DUH, haha)? I seem to be able to respond to Lou's Soul Voices, but he doesn't get me often. If you can get that volley going, you'll be in pretty good shape.

And PLEASE, feel free to initiate a Squad Mission if you're looking to do one and I'm not at the console immediately. Whatever squad I was in yesterday had them polished off before I even got a crack, ugh. Someone was hungry..

Thanks for the Skell Tip. I didn't even think to go back there and check...after messing with my Skell literally 15 minutes before I lost mine. *sigh* If you lose your Skell "for good," do you lose any weapons/etc that you had upon it, or do you get to salvage those somehow?

@Mr_Mustache You never lose your Skell for good unless you choose to sell/junk it yourself. If you have 0 insurance left on a Skell, and it gets wrecked, even getting a "perfect" on the B button prompt will not let you repair it for free. Same deal with your AI teammates, if they use a Skell with 0 insurance left, you won't get free repairs either.

If you have a wrecked Skell, you cannot remove its weapons without first repairing it, either by paying the fee or by using a salvage ticket. So be careful if you get down to 0, and you might want to consider buying a new Skell instead at that point.

The salvage tickets come from the Division Rewards, and they're the highest reward you can get. I have no idea what determines the performance of each division, but it seems right now the Mediators always get a choice of all rewards every day. So I sometimes switch to Mediators just to get a salvage ticket the next day.

So I maxed out my Duelist class and switched to Enforcer... and lost about 4000 hp. Now I have to put off chapter 5 even longer

@mrbiggsly Don't forget that when you switch to a new class, your skills get unequipped. So if you were using HP Up ones, you'll have to equip them again.
