Someone tell me this is Mini-Golf at least! Please?

@TheOldManFromZelda

You can bet 10 million dollars on two raindrops rolling down a window pane. It doesn't make the activity itself any more exciting.

@Shadowlink

Have you been golfing before (NOT mini-golf)? Could be relevant.
09/17/15, 22:02
@Shadowlink

Are you arguing that it's not thrilling to watch the Powerball numbers when they come on in between Seinfeld re-runs?!
09/17/15, 22:32
@Mr_Mustache

I have. A few times. My Grandad is a big golfer.

It's a great way to ruin a nice walk. Why shouldn't it be televised?
09/17/15, 23:07
@Shadowlink

Then you're doing it wrong. Its super relaxing, and allows you to put "everything else" away for a little while, and just focus on one goal at a time. And if you have a bad hole? Just move onto the next one.

And I think Jargon's question has some validity. Well?
09/18/15, 02:07
@Mr_Mustache

A) That's playing golf. Not watching it. Which adds a whole other level of pointlessness.

B) Walking around would be the relaxing part. Adding a difficult task to that walk would make it less relaxing, not more.

C) I was under the impression that Jargon's question was sarcastic. To answer it seriously? It's not 'thrilling'.

@Shadowlink

I think Bingo is pretty rad, which is basically Powerball. And there is a challenge in golf that you have to appreciate, similar to watching people on Let's Plays, or something. But those people are goons. PLAY THE GAME YOURSELF.

Golf, on the other hand, very difficult. If I can see individual blades of grass on the green, I putt.
Can't chip to save....par.
09/18/15, 05:10
@Mr_Mustache

I appreciate the 'challenge' such as it is- But spending half my day walking around doesn't add anything to that.And watching *other people* undertake such mental torture certainly doesn't appeal either, which was my initial point. Unless it's Happy Gilmore partnering with Bob Barker. Fireworks!

You know what does add challenge? A clown head. Mini-golf FTW.

I should find a new mini-golf place. I haven't been since the one near us closed like 10 years ago.

Just watched the Patriots S all over the Jaguars for 3 hours.

After that game was over, they joined THREE (3) games in progress with EXCITING finishes. What the F, NFL.
They should've cut out of the NE game before halftime. 51-17!! Good gravy.
09/27/15, 23:19
Well whatever the hell the Vikings were doing in Week 1 they seem to have stopped doing since then. Good for them.
09/28/15, 00:24
@chrisbg99

The Vikings have scared me away from Adrian Peterson, and I haven't picked them in Pick 'Em yet. I have no idea what to do next week. Such confusing times!
09/28/15, 11:17
Anyone watching UFC poop at all tonight? I did a $1 "Beginner" thing on Draft Kings, though one of the guys I had had his fight scrapped because his opponent couldn't cut weight. Ugh. So now I've got some schlub bringing up the rear.
10/03/15, 21:50
Its been quite some time (I think..) since I actually YELLED at the TV during a Bills game, but after the 3rd straight penalty starring perennial asshole Richie Incognito, I had enough. Rex Ryan should be ASHAMED of himself, bringing his ("his" being both Ryan's pedigree and Incognito himself) crap to Buffalo. 17 penalties? 3rd most all time for a Bills team. Record is 19, set way back in 1985. Well over 100 yards of penalty yardage. And personal fouls are off the chart. Disgusting.

Its like we're the F'n JETS in different clothes. Thats not who the Bills are.

And we're 2-2, so its not like being jerks paid off. 10 points. BFD.
10/06/15, 01:13
Well I'll give the Vikings this: Last year's team would have been destroyed by the Broncos. They fought back and almost pulled it off. Unfortunately they will go 0-4 against Peyton Manning as I don't think they'll play him again.

I know you guys generally don't care about NASCAR; but the first cut in the Chase has happened, dropping 4 guys from contention, and Jimmie Johnson (6-time champ) is no longer eligible at the season title. Pretty wild stuff. Everyone else you kinda figured would be out for the most part, but its tight as a drum now.

@chrisbg99

I was going to make a "at least it wasn't 0-4 against ELI Manning," but I'm afraid to look up the Bills' success against him, and I fear it will be a sad read.

The Vikes at least have a winning record against Eli.
10/06/15, 03:41
The Red Wings season is about to start! I got seats for opening game, which is sweet. Their pre-season has been pretty decent. Beat the Maple Leafs on Friday. Maybe this will be a good year for Detroit?
10/06/15, 04:21
@GameDadGrant

Go Canucks Go!

I'll be seeing them in Buffalo in early November. Interesting to see how this year shakes out for them. So many new pieces. I feel they're only a .500 team, but we'll see. The Sedins are on their last legs and shouldn't be leaned upon for big production anymore, but there's no one to fill the void.

@Mr_Mustache

I share your sentiment about the Bills. Cheaters never win. I don't want to watch or cheer for such a thuggish, undisciplined team.
10/06/15, 15:02
@TheOldManFromZelda

It's pretty sad when you can SEE a penalty coming, and the guy who is all riled up just won't stop. How much do they think they can do without getting flagged? Are they not aware that people are just saying things now to get under their skin? Come on, dummies.
10/07/15, 01:18
I was the only one drafting in a 10-team hockey leauge last night, and I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty happy with my team, haha. Anyone watching tonight?

And reflected up there, I missed the Yankees get bounced from Playoff contention already? Bummer!
