amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. Once again my Target advertised Amiibos that they definitely don't stock. They're so boring. It's pretty much all Mario and Zelda ones except for Pac-Man.

@Mr_Mustache Animal Crossing does not come out until the 25th, but if Amiibo cards come out this week I will definitely buy a few packs. I ended up picking up a Toad amiibo today when I went grocery shopping at walmart. I do not like to order Amiibo online because that becomes and addiction. I just buy the ones I want whenever I happen to finally see them. Now I can unlock the extra features in Captain Toads treasure tracker...

Yeah, I've got all of the currently available except for the Inside Out play set and figures.

I don't know if there was supposed to be a hard Do Not Sell Until date for the new wave, but I got lucky with my local EB. They had Ganondorf and Olimar on shelves already. This saves me from having to get up stupid early on Friday!

Yoshi's Woolly World amiibo bundle, which includes a green Yarn Yoshi amiibo, is currently available on Gamestop.com.

Edit: The Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash amiibo bundle has gone up, too.

All of my Target.com amiibo shipped, and I got Lucario and Greninja in the mail recently. I'll get up to wait on Bowser Jr. tomorrow morning at TRU and I'm hoping my eBay bid on Marth holds up.

Gamestop is doing a buy 2 get 3 free on all preowned gaming figures. The only Amiibo they have online though is Peach so unless you want 5 Peaches...

Not sure if this is in store as well.

So I saw this on the weekend Thought of you guys and took a couple of photos...

There are so many amiibo here now it isn't even funny.

Got the 2 Mario 30th amiibo and they also had everything else. Kinda funny since they were just being casually put on the shelf, stock everywhere. I wanted to get Zero Suit Samus but the appeal is kinda dying on me. These Mario ones though are really neat and couldn't pass them up.
