So, how are you liking this game? I think it's fun. I'm playing it in small doses. I'm on battle 42 of about 159 (for now). I already got the Mew from a special event, too. I haven't captured all the pokemon I have battled. I'm focusing on moving forward and then coming back to catch them all. I AM making exceptions for those pokemon I can actually Mega Evolve.

By the way, how does this game compare to Pokemon Trozei? I haven't played that one.

Woah I just did my first run at Mega Blaziken with all items and I'm #15 in the US!

Edit: Ended up #18. Pretty, pretty good.

Nothing new to do this week unfortunately, though.

Also neat! I didn't do so well on my run, but it was enough to get me ranked around 2500. That'll do me.

I'm just playing through Cresselia myself. I know I'm not going to get to 200, but I'm curious to see how far I'm going to get.

Not that I know of. I thought the next one was at 200.

The Redditers are reporting it becomes impossible itemless at about 160.

Pignite and new Safari mons up. I'll post the Safari mons as I encounter them:

- Gabite (ground)
- Gibile (ground)
- Garchomp (ground)
- Staryu (water)
- Furfrou (normal)
-Starmie (water)

The annoying thing about Safari is that you don't know which ones are rare when you're first going through, so you don't know if you should use Great Balls or not. I used two Great Balls to catch Furfrou and it immediately became clear that I could have just tried again later, whereas I held back on using Great Balls against Starmie and I haven't seen it again since. Ah well, plenty of time.

Neat, thanks. I figured there was probably something like that, but I was too busy trying to catch the jerk to experiment.

Also someone has posted encounter rates in that thread? Not sure how accurate it is, but looks like there's a 7th mon in there- And you're probably going to want to toss great balls when it shows up considering the encounter rate for it:

Furfrou (26%), Staryu (16%), Starmie (15%), Gible (26%), Gabite (10%), Garchomp (6%), Phione (1%)

I did indeed. I think it was pretty easy to catch to, so that's nice to make up for its rarity.

Looks like I'm missing only the second most rare guy. Time to switch my team to one strong against Ground

I'm only missing the ultra-rare now.

One Great Ball against Garchomp. Offset that against the rewards and Starmie coins, and I think I did pretty well.

Still 85K+ without Meowth grinding for the past few weeks.

Garchomp is mine. Seems like a good one to have too. Another Safari in the books.

I've got 4 Base 80 Pokemon left who I haven't maxed out. I suppose I'll do that for the rest of the week (yes even Ampharos and Meowth grinding is more fun than sitting at work doing nothing).
