@stratos they do but I've gotten more than enough people swarming over how they want my GQ who are unaware of how it will reset to its base level when I give it to them.
Also what are these 'paintballs' of which you speak? I don't understand... Do you not get these fancy little icons to help you tell which monster is which and even change color based on whether the monster is or has recently been aggroed by a player?
How can you people live your lives not knowing what direction a monster is facing before you go into the zone where you'll fight them? This is madness.
Oh you and your auto tracker! In my day, we hunter monsters based off of their scent, tracking, and with only sticks and rocks! You and your fancy skills...
Funny how many people don't realize it resets to it's base level. You should just give it to them anyways and let them find out the hard way.
So I couldn't sleep last night and decided to get the DLC and hunt some G-Rath. Walked away with two mantles, two rubies, and almost enough materials to upgrade my bow and build a complete gunner silver rath set. It was a good night.
@stratos Oh, and it marks Dalamander's head and tail as separate entities which is nice, although i don't plan on repeating that fight very often.
I'll take on the subspecies for palico gear and I'll be done with it.
As much as I love autotracker I still say they could throw in a map... Maybe the ability to beam monster locations to other players once every few minutes would be nice...
Guess I'll have to try and farm out a new set of guild quests. In a dual monster quest the reward quality is determined based on what monster is on the right so if I get something like a Deviljho or Rajang on the right with something easy like a velocidrome on the left we'll be golden.
The best way to get dual monster quests is to go through the everwood killing everything in sight (a maximum of 5 monsters can appear and killing all of them will ensure you get at least one.) I find that this is relatively simple (note: I did not say easy or painless) with the food skill Felyne Foodie helping you keep your stat boosts. (although that black diablos still managed to cause me to cart like 8 times while I was fighting him,)
Basically, this means I'll be save scumming for foodie and felyne defender (hi) and going through some mad dash in the g-rank everwood with my Palicos to kill everything and snatch anything they drop.
I plan to plan tomorrow. Also playing tonight if anyone wants to help me level my level 136 QC starring an apex Zinogre. I named him Zinny. He is NOT tamed.
I might be out this week. My wife has a late meeting tonight, so I'll have to take care of the kids by myself. I'll hop on if I can, but I can't promise that I will be there for sure.
@GameDadGrant To elaborate, that's the worldwide figure, so Japan makes up the majority of it with over 2.5 million sold there. Still, selling over one million outside of Japan is a good number for this series.
The only third party series you care about? C'mon man! What about Mega Ma...oh wait. Well, there's still Castlevan...er...hang on. What about Final Fanta...um.
