Tell me about it! The rugby league game I went to over Easter, it was ripped away from us in the dying minutes by a controversial penalty. Not a happy day.


Also, I'm on the highlights reel for that game, hah!:




Just after the goal is kicked at about 5:52-53, it cuts away to the referee with a crowd shot behind him. Just above the referee's head and to the right, there's a guy in a blue jacket with a hood, shaking his head in disappointment. That's me

And that was only halftime. It was way worse at the end of the game.

Oh that's nothing. Skip to the eleven minute mark and watch the next 30 seconds. That was the reaction to the penalty that lost us the game.

They don't show it, but some angry Canterbury fans were throwing bottles on the field and everything. It was chaotic. (I didn't throw anything, I just bitched a lot )


I maintain that if this was Europe, and a soccer match, something would have been set on fire.

So, I think this is my first time in this thread for whatever reason, but I just wanted to see who else is excited for the NFL Draft?

I'm a huge Raiders fan. My dad was born and raised less about an hour from Oakland, and he passed this blessing/curse of being part of Raider Nation on to me.

3 scenarios I'm hoping for...

1. If Leonard Williams is there at 4, TAKE HIM.
2. If Williams is gone, Amari Cooper. No brainer
3. Trade the pick, move back to the 8 - 12 spot, gain an extra pick or two and take the best available WR, and then a pass rusher with their bonus pick.

I miss the days of holding the draft on Saturday and Sunday. You could just turn it on in the morning, go about your day, and check in on every 1/2 hour or so.

I'm interested in seeing what the Vikings do if they get a weapon for Bridgewater or work on the defense.

Yeah man, there's some crazy shit going on in sports.

The NHL FA market and draft has reduced some teams to ashes, and others to phoenixes, rising from Arizona.

NASCAR had an insane finish Saturday night, with a car going into the fence.

Jason Pierre-Paul blows his finger up and has it AMPUTATED over the weekend.

Rory McIlroy blows something up in his leg and will miss The Open (almost handing Spieth the title).

And Wimbledon is Wimbledon.
