Agreed... a little more leniency on that death and hellish afterlife part for youngsters who haven't fully developed emotionally, but the world sure would be better off without any grown people who behave so shittily in any area of life. Recent studies have even linked trolling behavior with psychopathy, narcissism, and sadism.


On an almost completely off-topic note, I often wonder what the world would look like if a failproof and mandatory method of detecting psychopaths could be implemented and those people who tested too high on the spectrum were never allowed to hold important positions of power over others. Half the politicians and corporate leaders would be out on their asses and the world would change in amazing ways.

Digging the. 96 gal deco. The splash wall is surprisingly useful in splat zones and especially tower control. Add in the kraken and we have a winner.

Decided to give the brand spanking new Sploosh-O-Matic a go. I was very impressed with how well it covered the ground nearby thanks to the wide nozzle, so I thought, 'hey this could be my new Turf War main', but as soon as I ran into anyone I was screwed. Don't think I even reached a score of 500 with that thing in the end. Some stealth gear might have been in order, but I don't like the looks of those shirts much.

EDIT: Actually, maybe it's not even the weapon. I'm starting to think I've just started to suck really badly, 'cause I can't seem to kill shit. I shoot at people (with a friggin' Aerospray now) and nothing happens. Like, not even that little satisfying sound or anything, and the last time I killed someone in the game I died two seconds later. Maybe my internet connection has finally gotten back to its old, worthless self or something. Whatever it is, I'm starting to feel like I'm not really enjoying myself anymore.

EDIT: Yeah, seems like lag. Actually got a couple of good Tower Control matches in. I lost them and almost went down to a C+ rank, but the matches were still smooth and fair and all that. Hope it's a temporary crap-out, wherever the fault lies, 'cause this was horrible.

I ran the gal deco 56 with a damage up buff and Apparently that's enough to move it to a 2hit kill range.

Lag is a bitch tonight.

So I so a guy who had 4 pieces of clothing, each with a fully upgraded of one type perk. So 4 power, 4 defense, 4 ink saver, 4 ink resistance.

Yeah that shouldn't be too uncommon now. I've had 3-slot gears full for a while. Multiple gears ranked up.

Though when I use a Sea Snail to reroll an ability, i don't get to choose what that ability is right? It just picks a new one on the given slot on the given equipment?

Yeah, when you reroll all the sub slots are randomly assigned new abilities, and depending on what brand of gear you're rerolling you will be more likely to get certain abilities than others.

Yeah, all slots. Makes rerolling even more of a gamble. Which I kind of like, to be honest. I might change my mind when I run out of Sea Snails though.

Here's a doc with percentages and stuff for all available pieces of gear. Not sure if it's based on data mining or experimentation, and I haven't tried going by this myself, so take with a grain of salt and brace for potential spoilers.

Tell me about these...sea snails. I didn't play C v D over the weekend, did I miss a ton?

Basically, if you participate in the Splatfest you will be awarded Sea Snails according to your team's success and your personal rank. You can then take the Sea Snails to Spyke in the alley to either increase the number of sub slots per piece of gear, or reroll the sub abilities on gear with all slots full. If you don't have any snails you can still have Spyke do these things for you, but then you'll have to be level 20, and filthy stinking rich.

If you chose the winning team and got the best title, you'd get 24 for free. Otherwise, I believe it costs 30,000 to reroll your items. So 24 * 30000 is basically getting 720000 in cash which is a nice prize. Still, while bonus stats are helpful, it doesn't give a good player a HUGE advantage.
