@JargonIt'll be a bit while longer since I did spend some coins last night, I'm a little under 90,000 again but for the sake of science I shall attempt that feat! @ShadowlinkYeah no thank you on that 'trick'. Doesn't do much for me. --------------------------Catching RelicanthFirst try - 8 moves remaining - 32% catch-ability rate. No dice. Great balled it for 64%. Nailed it! 87,110 coins in my bank. --------------------------Dr. Fink's Mega Lucario Score - Round 2 - Initial Score: 10,494; Need to be in Top 30,000 participants to win 'big'05/18/2015 - AM - 624th out of 10,918 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/18/2015 - PM - 2,663rd out of 54,804 participants - Score Good for the Top 5% 05/19/2015 - AM - 3,283rd out of 64,051 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/19/2015 - PM - 4,099th out of 73,576 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/20/2015 - AM - 4,832th out of 81,330 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/20/2015 - PM - 5,535th out of 87,920 participants - Score Good for the Top 7% 05/21/2015 - AM - 6,055th out of 91,488 participants - Score Good for the Top 7% Dropped 520 spots. @ShadowlinkIn theory only those who won previously would want to omit themselves, no? Still feel like it should be a bit higher. The last time we did Mega Lucario there were over 200,000 in the U.S. doing it. That was right at launch though. ----------------------Spiritbomb ReportFirst Attempt I had 8 moves left. 29% capture rate. No dice. Great balled it. No dice. 2nd great ball worked though! Caught! ----------------------Dr. Fink's Mega Lucario Score - Round 2 - Initial Score: 10,494; Need to be in Top 30,000 participants to win 'big'05/18/2015 - AM - 624th out of 10,918 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/18/2015 - PM - 2,663rd out of 54,804 participants - Score Good for the Top 5% 05/19/2015 - AM - 3,283rd out of 64,051 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/19/2015 - PM - 4,099th out of 73,576 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/20/2015 - AM - 4,832th out of 81,330 participants - Score Good for the Top 6% 05/20/2015 - PM - 5,535th out of 87,920 participants - Score Good for the Top 7% 05/21/2015 - AM - 6,055th out of 91,488 participants - Score Good for the Top 7% 05/21/2015 - PM - 6,656th out of 95,863 participants - Score Good for the Top 7% 05/22/2015 - AM - 7,188th out of 99,404 participants - Score Good for the Top 8% Dropped 532 spots. Participants grew 3,541. This is the last I'll report since I am going away for the weekend and it won't be easy to post about it like that (With all the copy/paste, formatting, etc) At this rate I should be well within the 30,000 anyway with that simple initial shot. Jargon I believe was just above or below me at the time I saw his last score so he's probably good too. |

@DrFinkelsteinHearts if you want a pile of spare turns I guess. The only other thing to spend them on is an emergency 5 turns/10 seconds if you fail a level. Totally not worth it, as you can tell by comparing the minimal price of the power up that does the same thing with the 3K cash in reward for a jewel. Sorry to say I accidentally pressed the wrong thing once and cashed in jewel for just that whilst grinding Ampharos. Didn’t even get a second-chance screen, game used it gleefully whilst I was screaming “ABORT, ABORT!!!” My original plan back at the beginning was to save up for a stash of 24 jewels, then cash 12 in on both sides for ridiculous coinage and ridiculous hearts. I did cash in 6 in for coins early on in order to obtain emergency funds to buy the Complexity that snared me the Lucarionite in the first contest, I then continued to squirrel them away as per the original plan to get to 24. Since I’ve mostly cleared the game though, it’s clear that the game probably drip-feeds you enough hearts- If you were to (in theory) neglect sleep, work, life in general, you can get around 50 hearts a day (5 at the start + 48 for each half hour.) Plenty of attempts. Not only that, but whilst your heart stash remains above 5, you’re not going to get any new ones as time goes by until you work through them, unlike the coins which you can keep stocking up on. Coins however only get doled out to you at a rate of 500 once per day. So if you look at it from a time conversion perspective: 12 Jewels = 80 Hearts = 1.66 days to obtain (Assuming constant usage) 12 Jewels = 48,000 coins = 88 days to obtain (Assuming daily check in) Even if you (theoretically) spent all 80 hearts on a perfect 530 coin Meowth grinding session, you’d still only end up with 42,400 coins. At best. And you’d go crazy. So, yeah TL;DR- Spend them on coins . I (should) have 14 this afternoon once I get home and received my anticipated 2 gem competition reward. I’m basically saving them for an emergency cash injection, should I ever need one. I suppose they might be used for something else down the line- Maybe trading in at the store for evolution stones? Who knows. Regardless, I’m saving ‘em until I need ‘em. BTW, who were you using for Gensect? I subbed in Mega Ampharos instead of Aerodactyl. Might not have done double damage, but the mega ability is still pretty strong, plus it lays waste to the disruptions when they show up. |
