amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. Alrighty, Gold Mario is now out of stock on Walmart.com again.

Do I care about Gold Mario at all..? I don't think I do. At least not now. I pre-ordered MP10 from GameStop (where Gold Mario isn't), so I guess thats that.

Looks like Mega Man is sold out at gamestop in the US today.

Hooray! I was able to snag a Mega Man, Sonic and Shulk off ebay for only $60, that includes shipping! I couldn't believe someone was selling all three for such a low price! Finally, I was able to get my son the Shulk he really wanted. The other two are for me!

I got this Bowser Amiibo recently. Named him "Nappa", since he reminds me of the Dragon Ball Z character, for some reason (he's also got this skin with the blonde sayan hair, which is cool, even though Nappa is bald). I've had a lot of fun with it and it's been a tough 8th player, whenever only 7 people gather around to play some smash and there's a seat left. He's level 41 now and it's starting to give me some headaches during the last few Bowser ditto matches. It's kind of "I've created a monster" feeling. It's neat.

He's a tad younger than us yet. I haven't had even CLOSE to 7 people at my place since THE NEGATIVE WORLD MEETUP. That includes people not even playing the Wii U. I think I've had a max of 4 since then.

Huh, that's weird though. Since when are things exclusive to US like this? Maybe exclusive to Wal-Mart in the US but EB would get it in Canada? Seems odd to limit it that way.
