Unlocked a ton of challenges and played a handful of stages/matches. I'm loving these brand new stages. Tortimer's Island... Golden Plains... HELL! even 3D World is a scrolling stage I actually think I love. That's new.

Fun was had!
Good games, NoName and Kenny!

Also, I loved the final game between NoName and me. Just fun.

I had to cut out because the baby is stirring. I think I'll be back online soon.

@DrFinkelstein
The stages certainly are fun, but for some reason it feels like there aren't many. Maybe because they all fit on that tiny screen.

Were you guys actually using custom sets?

I haven't dabbled in that at all so was thrown off when asked what to pick and just went with default, heh

EDIT: And while I like most stages, there are some I could do without.

Especially Brinstar....I've hated that damn stage since the original and it just keeps....coming....back

@ploot

Indeed! Thanks for hosting, it was fun. And I could tell that last match was going to be our last. Haha.

Oh, and kgtennispro, I remember playing Brawl with you and Octorockin in the early Brawl days... You're just as good as ever!

@ploot

Perhaps. There's 27 from the get-go, 18 of those are brand new, and I've unlocked 3 already. Of those three, I think at least two are new.

There hopefully is even more!

I was dabbling in Smash Run tonight and... I still don't quite understand what makes me effective or not. I did win once with Captain Falcon though.... so two more and I unlock that damn rectangle.

@NoName

I'm pretty sure I don't have you added yet, what's your FC?

Mine's 1032-1228-0317. I might be wrong and we are already 3DS friends, but want to make sure

@kgtennispro
I didn't use custom stuff but I allowed it in the room.

I REALLY wish I could turn some items off though.

I have the Smash. I have played the Smash. I like the Smash.

@kgtennispro

Sure, if you have room and want to add me, that'd be swell. Here's my code: 4811-6941-5656. I'll add you as soon as I stop listening to the Mother theme on repeat... (gotta love the "play in sleep mode" option).

@ploot

I love items, they're what make Smash Bros the super fun and zany game that it is, but I'll agree that some of the new and returning ones can be a bit too much (I'd like to turn off some of the assists, too).

@ploot

I know you can do it offline, maybe setting it up there will carry over to your hosted rooms. If not, then I guess we're stuck with all or nothing.

Though you need to always keep the gust bellows on whenever you play with VofEscaflowne. He LOVES that item

Yeah, online is... decent, but it needs work. Kenny, VofE, and Nate and I struggled so much that I just had to bail. Sorry guys. It was fun though!

@kgtennispro
My items are already balanced how I like them, but not online.
Brawl allowed item switch when playing with friends. It's too bad that this one took some steps backward. BOO!

@NoName
I love items too, but some need to disappear!

The Gust Bellows is the worst thing to happen to anything ever!

Double-posting, but I need to confirm that playing multiplayer with four people actually LAGS locally. Sometimes pretty badly. I don't know if it's level-dependent, but it was REALLY bad on "Find Mii."

I really don't get it.

I was most excited to try out Robin and Shulk. Robin's charged up thunder attack and Levin sword smashes are so OP. He's great in the hands of a noob like myself. Shulk on the other hand.....I feel like one has to devote a lot of time in the practice mode to figure out how to operate the Monado Arts in any effective manner.

Slide Pad broke. Rubber thing came off. Thanks Little Mac.

@Pokefreak911

I saw that happened to Davoid too.

What the hell... this is kind of scary. You can't reconnect the Slide Pad? I don't know how it's attached.
10/04/14, 16:10
I have the game!

Now all I need is a working 3DS.
10/04/14, 16:42
@DrFinkelstein
You can place the slide pad rubber back on top, but it still comes off rather easily and it's not helped that my hands get sweaty real fast when playing Smash for some reason so it ends up sticking to my thumb. It's not going to stop me playing Smash, but it is going to make it harder to play.

Just played online for the first time, got destroyed, was pretty laggy, froze for a few seconds a couple of times. Still fun.

Oh geez oh geez. I'm terrified of this happening. Is there any way to repair this and keep all your digital stuff on the 3DS...?
