Everyone in charge of the eshop should have the words 'Error Code: 011-3139' marked on their forehead in the most painful way possible.

Same. It's even more frustrating when your buddy is over and his 3DS connects to the eShop flawlessly...

No idea what's going on, but I've been trying for 90 minutes with no luck!

I was finally able to connect but it's taking a while to download. I'm just set it to download later. I'll check in half an hour.

There are better ways to voice a complaint than a wall of obscenities. No one at Nintendo or any company would take that seriously, so I would suggest voicing your concerns in a calmer manner when you fill out the survey.

As for the game itself, I'll have my copy this afternoon and I can't wait.

So, the online really does work pretty darn well.

The only time I had any awful lag was when I was far from my router's signal.

BUT:

WHY THE HECK can't you choose 1 vs 1 in the "For Fun" area online? I prefer playing the actual stages with items enabled, but I also prefer 1 vs 1.
BLAHH!

Also, is there any way to switch various items on and off while hosting? I couldn't find the option.

I started downloading at 2am, only to wake up to an error code. No Smash for me today.

Just downloaded and it worked fine for me, of course it's like 6 in the freaking morning so traffic probably isn't too bad.

Tried a few online matches last night, and only had one bout of slow down so I was pretty happy with that.

I'm also really loving Robin, even moreso than Ness right now. I can't wait to try out the rest of the entire roster today now!

Mine downloaded overnight, but I fell asleep before I got the chance to take it for a spin. I'll be playing tonight and all weekend, I'm sure.

I played for about 20 minutes this morning, it seems to run very well, I'm impressed by the level of detail they were able to cram in on the 3DS screen.

Of course I don't really know how to play so I suck horribly, but that's a whole 'nother issue.

Took this for a quick spin this morning...and it's good. Not up to Brawl/Melee levels yet, but it's good. I beat Classic Mode with Zelda once (and unlocked Falco in the process) and hit a few home runs. Are there really only 35 challenges? Weren't there over 100 in Brawl?

Also, when the Mii Fighting Team attacked me, it spawned Miis on my system...Gui is the worst Mii confirmed. I knocked him out three times.

Hm, I downloaded this at midnight with no troubles whatsoever.

I suspect there are more challenges that unlock after the initial board, like in Kid Icarus Uprising. At least, I hope there are more challenges.
