    Lot of sales, but nothing this week for me.

    Looked up Wild Guns, thought it was like that Wild Arms series...but it's not. Reminds me of the T-2 game on SNES. I wonder how we did it sometimes...those controls man.

    Interesting. I guess with no TG-16 support, we won't be seeing Rondo of Blood on the Wii U, will we? Ah well, at least I can still play it in Wii mode. And now I can compare it with Dracula X SNES.

    Didn't Japan get TG-16 support recently, with certain titles seemingly having their western titles in Miiverse or something?

    Wild Guns is pretty fun, actually. Played it on the Wii VC, and while yes, I did think about how much easier it would be with Nunchuk+Remote controls, the controls do work. I don't recall having to do Finger Twister to play it.

    But it's a pretty challenging game, and I just couldn't finish it. Perhaps I can convince the girlfriend to help me out, now… It's probably a whole lot more manageable co-op.

    Oh, this is awesome. I actually really like the SNES version of Dracula X, and was always disappointed that we never got that on the Wii VC. I'll download that version for sure, as soon as its available.

    @Guillaume

    Co-op makes that game insane. I can't remember what happens when one character get the "Vulcan Cannon" power-up; do both players get it or only the one that earned it? It's been so long since I've played it, my memory is fuzzy.

    @r_hjort That would be news to me. And good news. I just sort of assumed Sega and Hudson (or Konami or whoever owns those rights now) decided to skip the Wii U VC altogether. Which would be a huge shame, considering how strong their Wii VC support was.

    Wondering what the Smash sale games will be. It's not like there are a lot of games in those franchises on the eShop. Maybe if the Wii Fit U discount is deep enough, I'll see what used Balance Boards are going for online...

    Apparently there are a few TG-16 titles on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console right now, and when visiting some of their respective Miiverse communities from a western Wii U the titles will change according to their old localizations. Be Ball will be named Chew Man Fu, for instance. That doesn't have to mean anything, obviously, but I hope it does.

    I'm guessing:

    Metroid
    Metroid II: Return of Samus
    Super Metroid

    Wii Fit U

    Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity
    Pokémon Battle Trozei!
    Pokémon Rumble
    Pokémon X/Y

    The only ones that are kind of a mystery to me are the Mii fighters. Will their sale be for ANY game that uses Miis? Like Mario Kart and Mario Tennis? Or will it be "non-franchise" games like Pilotwings Resort and Tetris Axis? Maybe discounts on the Mii StreetPass Plaza games?

    Sales are up, and they're...eh. Sitting this week out.

    Yeah, geez. Those sales are...like, what? What are you thinking, Nintendo? Are they really grouping the Miis in with the Wii Fit Trainer for the sale? That's pretty lame. And the only discount for Samus is on the original Metroid? Bah. BAH I SAY!

    The only decent discount in there is for Gates to Infinity - and one's tolerance for rogue-likes will dictate whether or not that's worth biting on.

    Well, hopefully next week's sales will be better. I'm hoping for a sale on Tropical Freeze - that'll be an insta-buy if it drops in price at all.

    No discount on Tomodachi Life? Shame.

    Tomodachi Life should have been the Mii discounted game. That game IS basically Mii: The Game.

    Nintendo dropped the ball this week, maannnnnnnnn.
    I also feel that last week they should have offered more Mega Man games at a discount. BOO!

    I wouldn't hold your breath. Based on last this week's sales, we'll be lucky to get Donkey Kong (NES) and Donkey Kong Jr. Math (NES). Maybe Donkey Kong '94 for Game Boy, which would be nice.

    So what did people think of that Pokémon Trozei game? Was there someone here who liked it?

    Anyone know anything about Spikey Walls? It could net me $5 in DDP....

    Sweet, Wild Guns is an awesome game to play co-op.

    I'm glad it's on the VC since a cartridge can be pretty rare and very pricey.

    @Jargon

    It's by a value developer (Blok Drop U, Poker Dice Future Solitaire) and the game is a Flappy Bird clone. Don't dignify them with your money, it looks awful.
