Mentioned it in the game thread, but Yumi's Odd Odyssey has also permanently dropped its price to $20 (from $30).

Yeah, it's weird, they only seem to call out sales and not permanent price drops. And they call sales "price drops" in the eShop itself. Nintendo has no idea what it's doing.

SteamWorld Dig has been on my radar for a while. Worth picking up on sale?

Anyone wondering about the Atlus sale: Devil Survivor: Overclocked, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, and Code of Princess are all on sale for 14.99 on the 3DS eshop right now.

Little Inferno isn't a very good summer game, but if you want a buy it now and play through it this December...

@Secret_TunnelI had so much fun playing this game during the Christmas season when it first came out. All dark and cozy with just this game and my tree all aglow.

@anon_mastermindHaven't played any of them. BUT I know this: - Devil Survivor Overclocked is more like a tactical RPG. Grid-based movement like Fire Emblem, etc. - Soul Hackers is more like a traditional SMT game: move around in first person view, random encounters, turn-based combat.

@ZeroYea, those games have been on sale for a couple of weeks now and unfortunately, if you did not bite, its too late, they are no longer on sale. Though, I'm sure given enough time, they'll be on sale again in the future. Now, Yumi's Odd Odyssey is on sale for $19.99, actually I believe that is the new price from here on out. It used to be $29.99. Has anyone played this game, is it any good and most importantly, is it fun?

@anon_mastermindGet Code of Princess so we can play together online! @gamewizard65I think that @Guillaume is qualified to answer that. He's played it and talked about it on RFN, I believe.

Picked up SteamWorld Dig because I was curious about it before, and $4.49 was too good a deal to pass up. I'm about an hour in, and I like it so far. It's very Metroid-esque, and the art style is nice.

@gamewizard65I enjoy it, but it's really hard to control. You have to have a certain tolerance for deaths that you'll feel are unfair.

Guillaume said:- Soul Hackers is more like a traditional SMT game: move around in first person view, random encounters, turn-based combat. Hm, interesting. Is this a dungeon-crawler or something else? Maybe this series is something worth paying more attention to...

@Mop it upSadly, that's all I know. Also: it is a game originally released on the Saturn, so it's a little bit more dated than more recent SMT releases. And even SMT 4, the latest title in the series, had its share of weird design issues and some player-unfriendliness.
