My wife wants to go to a ball game and sit in such seats. I would be a nervous wreck, because you're how many feet from a wayward line drive foul ball punching a hole through your skull. My reflexes aren't good enough.

We were a little concerned about that and some balls did fly pretty much directly overhead, but I think the likeliness of it bee-lining us versus pop flys (which are certainly less troubling) made us feel comfortable. Still, you're right... you gotta be on your toes.

And hell, sidebar, but I just remembered my cousin and I got on the big camera/screen. Never had that happen before!

Was in the bleachers today at Wrigley for the 100th anniversary of the park, and it was fun. The Chicago Federals ended up blowing the game in the ninth, giving up 5 runs to the Kansas City Packers. Typical. At least I got nearly 20 tags today!

I wonder how stupid that Yankees pitcher actually is. It's one of the rare times Seattle has gotten it right trading someone away. "Oh shit, people noticed I had pine tar on my hands last time I pitched against the Red Sox...I guess this time since I'm pitching against THE SAME TEAM I'll just put it on my neck and LOLOLOL"

I know we've got a ton of NASCAR fans on here; Brad Keselowski (driver of the #2 Miller Lite Ford) has proposed a Dream Schedule,which shortens the schedule (timewise), has them done before November, but adds two races. He's got DOUBLE HEADER weeks where there are races on Wednesday Nights as well as Sunday Afternoons. The idea is a neat one, but a NIGHTMARE for my Fantasy League, haha. ..I could make it work.

The guy is a freaking idiot. Did he really think no one would be watching him, especially after he got caught a week ago?

Frankly it's unbelievable that anyone would be dumb enough to cheat that obviously.

Honestly I think the penalties for cheating are too lenient. Bans for life and I bet a LOT less people would attempt anything.

Richmond race is on tonight. Always a good show, and only 400 miles. Should be in and out in about 3 hours and change. FOX!

Yeah, 10 game suspension? For a STARTING PITCHER? For those who don't know, there is a ROTATION. You don't play every day. He's going to miss 1 guaranteed, MAYBE 2 starts. All they have to do (to ensure he makes that 2nd start) is shift someone up ONE spot in the rotation the day before he's coming back. 10 START suspension? I'd accept that.

What a wad.

Yeah they really need to change how they suspend starting pitchers.

They should do the opposite of Suspending and FORCE them to pitch every day. That'd be something.
