Ever since they announced this game just a little while ago, I was quite intrigued. It caught my attention in the same way the amazing Pokemon Pinball games did way back in the day. The original Pokemon Trozei for the DS never was even on my radar. I'm sad about that but I can't wait to drop a couple of bucks on this thing! $7.99 is the cost and it releases March 20th. It's already out in Europe! I highly encourage people to check out the main website here.

Reading about it... and there are so many cool features I wasn't even aware of until tonight. Here are some highlights.

All 700+ Pokemon are featured and catchable!

Pokemon Type matters and can provide advantages and disadvantages!

Ditto is a support character that can be useful in a variety of ways.
Check out that board of Unowns to match! Tricky!

Play with friends locally and interact over streetpass!

I don't know about you all, but I'm so IN on this. I'll be out of town Thursday but I'm going to try and connect to the hotel-wifi just to get this on launch. I don't really want to wait till Friday afternoon. Who's with me?

I remember playing the original Trozei to death. Been meaning to pick this up when I got the money.

I've always meant to pick up the original Trozei, but for whatever reason, I never did. I'm definitely getting this on Thursday!

I'm having a lot of fun with this right now. It can be a bit frustrating at times but really it's usually a matter of having the right support Pokemon.

I'm going to truly try and catch em' all!

Trozei was a decent puzzler. Nothing earth-shattering, but an acceptable time-waster.

So what are the main differences here?

@Anand

I've never played the original but front understanding the pokemon types affect each other and that's new. I'm having a lot of fun even if the depth is dependent on how bad you wanna catch em all.

@DrFinkelstein
Yeah, that is new, I think. Wasn't there something like that in Pokemon Puzzle League?

Regardless, all genres should be Pokemon Pinballized! It could be like the new "RPG-elements".

Speaking of which, I just ordered that Pokemon Typing game from Amazon.Uk. I'm bloody pumped! (And it comes with a Bluetooth keyboard!)

Speaking of which, did anyone actually PLAY Pokemon Dash?

I just beat the main game in the last hour. I unlocked two more areas. One of those is a section that's sped up singificantly which also features challenging pokemon while the other area is a section with 20+ Pokemon per area which means you have to make it a long time without losing your normal life bar. I'm a bit worried these will be too frustratingly challenging but still I'm having fun.

I have 57% of the Pokemon in the game. Pretty good so far I'd say! It's just a shame that my favorite Pokemon in the world, Dragonite, is apparently locked at the VERY last Pokemon of the VERY last level. So it might be a long long time before I can put him as my favorite Pokemon on my Street Pass card.

Am I really the only person playing this game?

I bought it and played for a bit.
It just seems too simplistic to me I suppose. Once you get the trozei-a-goin', it basically just becomes a "be as quick as you can and match the random stuff falling from above" kind of game.
I'm probably selling it short, but it hasn't grabbed me.

Simplistic, only to those with simplistic minds.

There's nothing random about a Muk falling on your face, believe you me.

I have officially 100%'d the game. And yep, Dragonite is now my favorite on my street-pass card. I can finally put this title to bed.

Wow. You made short work of that game! Congrats, sir!

@GameDadGrant

Thank You! The 3DS says it took me... 49 hours and 12 minutes. Damn... I can't believe I played it that much but I guess it makes sense. It was a constant partner amongst tv watching or even on some commutes.
