Genius Sonority (Pokémon spinoff dev) has developed an AR RPG loosely translated to "Electric Wave Person RPG" for release on the JP eShop. Looks kinda fun: you use the AR to find little Pikmin-like creatures and then use them in turn-based battles. Check out the video. (Link)
I just got a bunch of new characters and while messing around with creating a new team for the next dungeon, I found out that there's a way to unequip everyone not in your party. YES!
I'm still playing the demo but I will get it eventually as Mahell bought it & played the hell out of it. I tried catching Denpa mens in the bus(of all places) & I caught one that has the "Invincible" power. Awesome!
Cleared out the Ocean Cave. That was one tough boss Thankfully I didn't die but now I'm not even high enough level for the next area according to the recommendation...
Had I not found a Mobilize (All) guy earlier today, that would've been a much more frustrating fight since the boss paralyzed my entire team EXCEPT for him in one attack.
You know where to find Denpa men like Christmas? Just go through the parking lot of a nearby hotel or apartment complex. I think I might be put on a neighborhood watch list after filling up my expanded house. Got my first shiny one at the nearby apartments, too. LOL
It's based on wireless signals, and it retains what those signals are. So at my house I'll always have the same guys. And if I lose one of the ones I found at work, it'll return to my office for me to recatch there if I so desire.
Yeah, I live in a townhouse, so walking around my neighborhood was quite helpful in finding Denpa (including my first and only shiny so far). I plan on trying the local mall out sometime this week to see if I can find anything decent there
Absolutely. In fact, the same Denpa men will show up for everybody in that specific physical location based on algorithms within the software, which makes this a truly brilliant portable title. I've already sunk about nine hours into it. This is easier for me to recommend as a purchase than Pushmo, which is really saying something.
EDIT- It is also worth mentioning that the Denpa generator seems to be pulling assets from the Mii maker, and I haven't seen a single Denpa that looks like another Denpa. Again, brilliant. Also, has it been mentioned that Genius Sonority is made up of dudes that have worked on Pokemon and Dragon Quest titles in the past?
I am very tempted to jump in. I played through the demo dungeon and it was pretty fun. Not going to lie though, what I really enjoy is catching the blighters.
Damn, this new area is crazy. There's this one monster that deals out 80+ damage to everyone in my party and burn damage on top of that for another 20+ damage each turn. I need a better healing character and more skills... my wireless signals around here must suck
