"Link to the Past 2" not only got a name, but a new trailer! Nothing dramatically new was shown off, mostly the same stuff that we have seen before, but it's still worth checking out.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is slated as a 2013 release.

Stay tuned for more details!

not stretching for me, must have been fixed.

Links Awakening is pretty damn close to my favorite game Lttp, so I can understand that GameDad.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- and likely again sometime after that -- the new renditions of the old songs are magical. Here are ten minutes of footage with direct feed audio, featuring such hits as The Legend of Zelda theme, Fairy's Fountain, and that old summer hit, Dungeon Theme.

Well I have to say, after watching that off-screen video, it looks a ton better on the 3DS than in videos. So I guess it's growing on me.

@Shadowlink What browser are you using? Please don't say Internet Explorer. Anyone on Internet Explorer deserves whatever they get.

@Zero

A) Only at work, because I HAVE to! It's the only one installed!

B) FInk fixed it already.

Install your own browser. If work won't let you, then:

A. Use one of those zip drive browsers that don't need to be installed
B. COMPLAIN TO IT CONSTANTLY BECAUSE THIS IS STUPID

But really, I try to get everything working on all major browsers, it's just impossible when it comes to IE. That thing is more broken than Microsoft's DRM strategy AMIRITE GUYS?

How interesting will it be to run around the same overworld again? This looks pretty neat....but is it going to feel fresh at all?

@Pokefreak911 I thought this was old news?! Either way I assumed it. You can't reuse the LTTP overworld and not have the dark world, it'd be like half the size of the SNES overworld.

This may be pointless speculation, but if you look on the world map on the DS screen, you see that the map is part of a scroll. Is there any chance, I wonder, that the scroll will "unfurl", revealing the rest of the overworld? Perhaps the LttP overworld is just a big tease, and we're really only seeing a small part of the game.

@Zero
I don't think it was confirmed yet though.

I'm still not at all worried about the overworld thing. I'm sure there will be new areas, possibly even a new world/dimension. Why put all of those clouds over the map if we all already know exactly what it looks like.

@Pokefreak911

I fixed it. Did you see my note on what I did so that you know for the future?

Love the music in the clip. The jazzy horn of the dungeon theme was interesting. I also like that most of the sound effects have remained. I look forward to this.

Do you think all the dungeons will be giant towers with 10-20 floors? With maybe a deep pit of 10 sub-floors thrown in for good measure?

@TheOldManFromZelda

I hope not. Would be nice if the dungeon designs also reflected the original LTTP. Mix it up.

Never beat LTtP, but I'll have watched somebody else beat it. So, I'll probably get this.
