We apologize for the distinct tardiness of this episode. Various brand new technical difficulties made this episode tricky. In fact, until the eleventh hour we didn't think the La Mulana discussion would be able to be in. Alas though it was and hence the episode is named in honor. This episode finds Zero guesting and discussing some Mario and a unique Playstation game that looks more like it should be on a Nintendo console. NinSage describes his struggles through La Mulana and other games he's actually enjoying. Finally, DrFinkelstein briefly mentions some Nintendo games he's been playing only to go into a rant about the Zelda Oracle series he hopes to play. [Fun Fact, by now he's beaten Seasons and on to Ages].

Then they dive into yet another Nintendo Direct discussion. These NDs happen often eh? Zero finishes the podcast with discussion of his time at ACEN this year.

As per the norm, the theme music comes from Negative World's owner, Zero. The interlude music is from Pikmin.

Man, these things are coming fast and furious! Just listened to the K.K. Slider special today and Euphonic #2 a couple days ago. I can't keep up! I'll get to this one soon. I haven't commented in those threads yet, but I will. Spoiler alert: They were great!

@NinSage

I went through many and when this popped in my head, I knew it was golden.

@Koovaps

Did you listen to the K.K. Slider special in full?

Even if this episode took a while to get out, I enjoyed listening. Good to hear from Zero again!

I reviewed both Rhythm Heaven games (DS, Wii), so it was good to hear that discussion. And yeah, the flicking motion in the DS game is not as ideal as the button presses. But it’s still a great game! Also, I thought the music in the DS game was fantastic. Check out Secret_Tunnel’s Top Ten lists from the DS game and the Wii game.

Thanks Zero, for bringing the Pikmin love to this episode.

I listened to it, but I can't think of any comments now.

Zero loves Burlesque.

@Mr_Mustache

Thanks for listening! And yes, yes he does.

@roykoopa64

I wonder when this whole Rhythm Heaven thing will happen for me again considering now I'm playing Animal Crossing like mad and today Picross e releases and I'm trying to beat Oracle of Ages and holy moly I have a lot of games to tackle.
