Welcome to the Negative World Euphonic podcast! Stephen and Joe are back to celebrate some awesome Video Game Music!
In this episode they focus on Overworld Themes and Character themes.
What do you think of the songs picked for this episode? Listen through the credits to discover early what the next episode's themes will be. Most of all though, ENJOY!
Negative World does not own the rights to any of the songs featured on the podcast. This is a non-profit appreciation podcast and the rights belong to whoever owns them at the time of release, most likely Nintendo.
Suh-weet, my pick got um, picked for this! Awesome, thanks guys. Chrono Trigger's entire soundtrack is really awesome though, nary a weak track in the entire thing.
What's cool is that I knew pretty much all of the songs or at least knew what games they came from. Except for the one from the Professor Layton game. Haven't really played that series, which is really a terrible thing of me.
Nice to hear a couple of my hopefuls on there.....but I find the lack of Steel Samurai disturbing. I mean, he's the hero of Neo Olde Tokyo for crying out loud.
What's the experience like compared to Tri? I'll probably have a Wii U at some point in the next 12 months. However, I'm skeptical of getting MH3U because I put sooooo much into MH3 that I don't want to feel like "shouldn't the game let me skip the first ~300 hours! I already did this grinding for loot!!" Ya know?
Much more in depth and involved. The original Tri is only half of this game, to be honest. Also, getting the proper materials needed/grinding goes faster. At least in my experiences.
Probably so you can experience the new things, and not be stuck replaying the old stuff. They also eliminated some of the fetch quests that bogged down the original. There are still there, just not in a huge number.
~280. Cryojin is knocking on 3 if he hasn't passed it, and Anand, Ludist, and D'Artagnan all have a pile of hours, too.
3U SQUASHES Tri. More monsters, more quests per level, more levels, DLC, more locales, more armor, more weapons, more charms, new skills. Gosh, what else?
For those that think "its just Monster Hunter Tri again," which is a ton of people, they are sorely mistaken.
Stache, don't be like that man. You know how many songs there are to choose from... and we only pick three from submissions... small chance for anyone. You make us sound like we blatantly dismiss good stuff. It's really hard to narrow down songs for this and if you think the podcast stinks because your good songs haven't been chosen these first two episodes, you're only going to hurt the podcast more by not submitting in the future.
Plus, you're totally not being patient for something I plan to do in the future sometime. You'll probably get your day in the sun soon enough. Patient man. Just have fun dude.
