I'm sure it's great and all, bu I've never in my life thought is "What this Kirby game needs is more golf."

Edit: I'm not even going to edit that total failure of communication up there. Funnier that way.

@TriforceBun I don't really like it either. It's a fun concept, just executed poorly.

No way! T-Bun and GrantDaddy don't like it!

@Mr_Mustache And you'd listen to them? Their irrational hatred of everything Nintendo, ESPECIALLY Kirby, is well documented!

Here, check out these ringing endorsements from this very thread!

I actually agree with your Engrish quote, but it seems kind of interesting. Well worth a buck and change, anyway. HAR!

I never played Kirby Dream Land 3 before so I took advantage of the deal since I was gonna download the other 2 Kirby games anyways.

Anyone here check out Groove Heaven? The trailer looks cool but I'm waiting for impressions/reviews before I bite.

Are you actually playing Shiren the Wanderer??

I came out of retirement when the Roguelike Signal was flashed in the sky...

Which Kirby game is "the best" for someone who's only real Kirby game experience is the NES one and the N64 one?

Superstar is generally considered to be one of the best, if not the best. Dream Course is a wacky spin-off.

Just skip straight to Return to Dream Land on Wii, people. By far the best Kirby platformer.

@missypissy If you liked those two, I'd say check out Kirby's Dream Land 3. It's the quintessential Kirby game that encompasses all the best elements from the series.

I prefer the experimental Kirby games, such as Canvas Course and Mass Attack (DS). Check 'em out.

I'm with you on the whole, but I adored Kirby's Adventure and Kirby 64. I consider Epic Yarn experimental (mixes up the traditional Kirby formula) and Super Star to be experimental even though it remains traditional...if that makes sense.

Went with Super Star, looked the more interesting of the two (Dreamland 3). Played a little bit of it last night, enjoyed it.

Picked up Tomb Raider ($13 for PC) and downloading Donkey Kong now. Knocked out six games in my backlog, added three more. 1st world problems.

Next week's confirmed lineup to this point:

3DS eShop Games - Gummy Bears Mini Golf
3DS Virtual Console - Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
Wii U Virtual Console - Ghosts & Goblins (NES), Mega Man X (Super Nintendo)

Not sure why I included Gummy Bears in there, but I knew the date, so...yep.

In all seriousness I've been waiting for a good mini-golf game forever, but they always seem to suck.

Somehow I doubt this is the one to change that trend.

Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch wasn't bad. Shin'en developed it.
