May continues with a Nintendo Download that's light on quantity of content, but big on quality. Three Kirby titles land on the Wii U Virtual Console, and if you buy two, you get the third free! Three games arrive on the 3DS eShop, including the anticipated Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D on May 24, and there's a 20% sale on The DENPA Men: They Came By Wave. Be sure to check out your favorite digital storefront today (May 23, 2013) for all of this week's Nintendo updates.

    Why not sign up for a (free) account?

    We'll never get Dream Land 2 on the 3DS eShop.

    @Guillaume

    I'm kinda surprised they didn't release it today with the other three Kirby downloads on Wii U...

    That buy two Kirby games, get one free is tempting...I wonder if that applies to upgrades (since I already own Dream Course)?

    @Guillaume
    We rarely get GB games in general

    I'm not happy that we haven't gotten any more of the GB Mega Man games and they have instead been giving us the NES ones. I really want to play Mega Man IV and V on the GB already...

    I'll be downloading Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. My son has been asking for it, too.

    I'm also in the camp that is disappointed by the lack of Gameboy Mega Man games (or Gameboy games in general) but oh well. The NES Mega Man titles are of course classics, and hey. It's not like we aren't getting ANY Gameboy love, what with the two Legend of Zelda games coming next week, as well as Shantae next month.

    So...yeah. Can't complain *too* much, personally.

    I can confirm that the Kirby deal applies to upgrades as well.

    I upgraded Kirby's Dream Course.
    I bought Kirby's Dream Land 3 (did not previously own).
    I got Kirby Super Star (a game I did not previously own) free.

    @ludist210

    I was just about to post the exact same thing. I paid less than a buck a game for those 3 titles, since I had 7 and change in deluxe digital download promotions burning a hole in my pocket. w00t!

    Option A: use remaining Wii points to purchase Kirby's Dream Course, transfer to Wii U.
    Option B: Upgrade Kirby Super Star, purchase Kirby's Dream Land 3, download Kirby's Dream Course for free.

    Hmm... the question is, do I really want to play KDL3, and to be honest I have no desire to upgrade KSS...

    @anon_mastermind

    I adored Dream Course, so playing with my brother-in-law is a no-brainer. I guess you could technically play multiplayer in the other two? Dunno, I've never played Kirby's Dream Land 3 (or 2 for that matter), but I'm curious to try it out.

    Kirby's Dream Course. All of you buy it or we're not friends anymore.

    I swear I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like Kirby's Dream Course. Now I know how people who don't like Zelda feel.

    @TriforceBun

    No worries buddy. I also don't enjoy Dream Course.

    @TriforceBun There's definitely a small faction here that shares your feelings. We really should round you all up and quarantine you or something...

    Is Dream Course on the Kirby Collection? If so, I'll get on it "soon." Right after Shiren the Wanderer....

    @GameDadGrant That's because there was no inferior GameBoy version AMIRITE?

    @Mr_Mustache It's not, unfortunately. Dream Collection's still a pretty good value, though. Just make sure to supplement it with Dream Course from the VC.
