Woah, is that what amounts to a Virtual Console bundle on the Wii U?!

I already have Mario 2 on Wii vc so I've no problem paying the $1 to upgrade it. So I will. I haven't played super ghouls and ghosts in almost 20 years, should I get that?!

Do you guys think the 50% off applies to the $1 upgrade fee as well?

    Also Mega Man 5.

Already own a version of Super Mario World? Great! Here’s how to get your discount:

If you own the Wii Virtual Console version, transfer it to your Wii U system. Then upgrade to the newly-optimized Wii U version of Super Mario World by purchasing it in the Nintendo eShop for a discounted price of $1.50.
If you own the Wii U Virtual Console version, you’re automatically qualified for the discount.

When you’re ready to purchase Super Mario Bros. 2, return to the Nintendo eShop and select the Virtual Console Featured Offer tile. Your 50% discount will be automatically applied.

Thanks! But it doesn't say what happens if you own the Wii version of SMB2.

Anyway, this isn't a burning question, it's just 50 cents.

This is a surprisingly awesome week.

Swords & Soldiers was pretty fun on Wii, if anyone is wondering. It's a 2D RTS, which sounds like it shouldn't work, but somehow does... usually.

If you own the Wii version of SMB2, I'm betting it's just the $1.00 upgrade fee. For me, this is a deal since I didn't buy the Wii VC SMB2.

I hope so, but I doubt it. Still, great to see that they've had more Wii U VC sales already than the Wii VC ever had.

You have to make the transfer and upgrade to the Wii U version in order to qualify for the discount.

I'm interested in Swords & Soldiers 3D, never did play the WiiWare version. What's the price tag on that?

    $6.99 I believe

Alas it doesn't. Just checked the shop and it's still $1 for me despite having Super Mario World purchased.

    Ah well, heh

Seriously. The only one I'm on the fence about is Super Ghouls & Ghosts. I've already bought Super Metroid and Super Mario Bros. 2, and I need to log on to my 3DS to get the other two...

Impressions once you have them, if you please?

It's cool so far, there is no tutorial and no handholding, you literally have to figure out everything yourself, I've only played the first 20 minutes though because I want to wait until tonight and play it in the dark to maximize the creepy atmosphere. Like Dementium this is a game that just feels weird to play during the day.

Sounds like something right up my alley. I'll have to download it once I get some funds. A lot of my "WAM" got used up for Mother's Day, lol.

It seems really unique, I could tell you more about it but I feel like even revealing the beginning is kind of a spoiler. It definitely has nice presentation, it's super simple graphically, but it's slick and polished. I'm definitely excited to play through the whole thing.
