Hm, weird. I swung by my GameStop and they listed the price at $49.99 now. I even checked Amazon (where I first got the tip) and the "discounted" price is no longer in effect. Maybe there was a pricing snafu that happened with the Wii U version, that has now been corrected? Either way, strange.

Anyway, I guess if you've already played the 3DS original, $50 is a bit steep. For first-timers though? Totally worth $50, IMO. This is the absolute best Resident Evil game since Resident Evil 4, and in some ways, even tops it. But it's a hard sell if you've already played it, or if you own a 3DS and can get it for just $20.

I got it on 3DS, agree with you on the quality of it. I would probably bite if it were $40, but the demo may sell me on $50. Though with eShop getting discounts at a fairly decent clip, I could probably hold off.

Great to see them putting some attention grabbing games on the Virtual Console....

(They're not bad games, but come on, they're not exactly ones that are going to promote the service)

Definitely excited for the RE Revelations Demo, even though I just passed up on the 3DS version for $13...
