"We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future."

I'm no Madden fan, but Nintendo's got some patching up to do with third-parties if their next-gen system is out of the question for current upcoming games. Your thoughts?

Just Dance 4! My wife loves it, and it's always fun to bust out at social gatherings.

Good call, Mikey; maybe "we'll" need to take it to the streets...

Random bump: may want to change the thread title. EA already released Madden 2013 on Wii U. They aren't releasing Madden 25 on Wii U.

@ludist210

HA! I didn't even realize that.

Now that football season is underway, this news, combined with EA's long running snubbing of PCs, is really bumming me out. I was totally ready to take the plunge back into the franchise this year. Why does EA not want my money? (yes I have a 360, but its dust collection is epic at this point and I think I'm giving it to my brother-in-law soon)

I even looked to see if anyone had put up a roster update for Madden 13 on Wii U, but no dice.

I picked up Madden 25 on the PS3 for the sole purpose for Direct TV Sunday ticket. I played a few games on it and man does it suck not to have the Wii U controller to manage my team during the game. It is also very apparent that Madden 2013 got the shaft in the graphics department last year. I will say that the game seems to run really clunky on the PS3 like its moving through molasses. But on the bright spot I now can stream Sunday ticket to my Chromecast and it only cost me 40 bones for the season. Thanks EA, Amazon, and Direct TV.

Amazon's anniversary edition from Amazon does. The cost of the game is $100 and it gives you access to Sunday Ticket via PC's/Tablets. Works well, used it last week.

For anyone interested (with those dirty other systems), I saw a commercial last night, and I may've read it wrong, but it was for a Sports Illustrated subscription, and they showed Madden 25 as one of the gifts. Worth looking into?

@Mr_Mustache

They usually do that every year. If you're into sports magazines, SI is pretty good. What would you do with your copy?

could be a troll and ask for the Wii U version then if they say there is no Wii U version you cancel your mag order....

@Mr_Mustache
Only if you're interested in the actual game. If you wanted the Sunday Ticket thing, that was only in special limited editions sold by Amazon that are all sold out now.
