One more thing I was thinking about adding to my review was that I originally discovered this game in 2008 through one of the Nintendo Channel demos. This is the 2nd game (along with Picross 3D) that I probably would not have bought when I did if it wasn't for the demo. Nintendo needs to do WAY more of this. But I hear the Nintendo Channel doesn't even exist anymore so......
Good review Matthew. I'm not really a crossword fan but it's nice to have these kinds of games on Nintendo portable systems, especially with that useful handwritten character recognition.
It's cool the game features more than just the standard crossword puzzle since it also has Word Search and Anagrams. That automatically makes the game more appealing to me!
Huh, that's too bad they didn't provide the option of using the d-pad for scrolling. Such a simple, optional, solution would have gone a long way!

Do way more of what? There are demos on the Wii U eShop and 3DS eShop of both retail and digital games.
Sounds like this is a lot like Crosswords Plus!, which I really enjoy. The biggest difference is this is in book form (which I might have preferred for Word Searches) versus Plus! is in regular form.
@ludist210 The Wii U has demos? That's great! I don't have a Wii U yet or 3DS yet, but that's good to hear. The reason I said that is because traditionally Nintendo was so resistant to demos. I'm glad I didn't put it in my review then. :)
