Mr. Iwata just announced that passionate fans will finally get a chance to play EarthBound on Wii U by the end of 2013. No additional details are available at this time, but the long wait is almost over!

You Are Not Dreaming – This is Real: Nintendo fans rejoice: EarthBound is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console this year. The original game was created by Shigesato Itoi and released on Super NES in 1995.
