Yeah that's not much of a surprise really. Still, I can't wait for this game. I hope it has a good recap of the previous games because it was really hard to take some of that stuff in. I can't imagine trying to remember the finer details for when the third one releases.
Is this obvious by what happens in 2? Hmm. Still, a game leaving room for a sequel doesn't always mean a sequel gets made.
@Shadowlink The point is sometimes you need to push someone in the right direction. You know what I mean. But... he ended up buying Fire Emblem for us, so I guess I can get this. Even though I still get like 90% of the games for us.
But having it confirmed by the director should mean that the game is in the works, no? I'm pretty sure it was confirmed a while back anyway. And yes, anyone who played the game should figure out when this game takes place.
We're still working on playing 999 soon, and I haven't picked up the second game...I'm wondering if I should grab it, in case it's going to be really rare.
Can't believe I still haven't played Virtue's Last Reward. I was super excited for it, but then the 3DS version's game-breaking glitches totally put me off. I guess if it hasn't been patched by now, it'll never be. I'll try to pick it up soon enough.
It's easy enough to avoid, just don't save in the vicinity of a certain room )and that goes for story AND puzzle sequences, because it glitched in that room for me during the story).
The ultra safe way of doing it (as I think Ploot pointed out to me) is that when you get to a new area and want to save, you jump back to the start of the game, a 'safe' saving area. Then you just have to jump back to where you left off.
It should be available via DD. That;s what I had to do, because by the time I realized it had actually been released here (about 2 months later), nowhere was stocking it anymore. Thank god for DD.
That might be a pain for Zero's brother though, because it would man Zero would have to lend his entire 3DS to allow him to borrow the game
Yeah, those game-breaking bugs really got me scared when I heard of them. But when I played? I had already gotten past the "glitch area" (Pressure Exchange Chamber) and I had been playing the game normally, not be careful at all. I had been saving willy-nilly, not paying attention to where I was when I saved, or how often I saved.
I wonder if only certain copies were bug-ridden? It wouldn't be unheard of...I had a copy of Metal Gear Solid 3D that glitched up and froze after the first cutscene. I returned the game, and the second copy I got was bug-free. Maybe bug-filled cartridges were way more common with Virtue's Last Reward?
Basically the writer for the series said on Twitter that although the games do ok in the West they lose money in Japan and they haven't been able to convince "the managers" to fund a third one. Kind of surprises me, I'd have thought this was one of their biggest series.
If this game doesn't get made a certain NinSage (not saying which one) is going to flip ouuuttttt!!! =P
I did hear something about ZE3 going to kickstarter. Did that actually happen? Sure, I could just type this into Google, but I always prefer getting answers from people/friends than a search algorithm.
