@GameDadGrantHow far have you digged? Also, having played a lot of Spelunky on Vita I think this is the better game, blasphemy?

Will probably buy this today. Are the L and R buttons used much, as mine do not work full stop. @deathly_hallowsSpelunky is fun, but many things hold it back from being a fantastic must own title.

@Pokefreak911I like Spelunky a lot, I just think the platforming "physics" are a bit weird and I'm sort of morally opposed to time limits in games so the ghost bothers me. It's still great though, and it perfect for a handheld since you can play in short burst and it has unlimited replay value. But unfortunately Steamworld Dig does use the shoulder buttons and you can't play the game without them.

@deathly_hallows@deathly_hallowsOnce you learn how the ghost moves he becomes really easy to deal with. And dammit.

@Pokefreak911Sorry man I feel your pain, I have a DSi with non-functioning triggers so It's only useful for touch screen games like Link N' Launch, although having a dedicated Link N' Launch system isn't so bad. EDIT: PM me if yer interested in a cheap used 3DS XL, blue and black, I'm selling...

@Pokefreak911But but but what about the 3 dizzles? Steamworld Dig has stunning parallax scrolling! (Although I want a 2DS as well, just cos it's weird and I like the weird!)

@anon_mastermindThis game is worth so much more than that, I would have been happy to pay $15, that's how much I paid for Spelunky and I think Dig is more fun.

Downloaded the game last night. As soon as I finish Rayman (GBC), I'm all over it.

@GuillaumeLet us know what you think! I wonder if you'll like it, it's not really a precision/skill-based platformer, there is relatively very little of that stuff.
