Get 30% off of 6 different Ubisoft games on the Wii U eShop (ZombiU, Assassin's Creed III, and more)

Nintendo / Ubisoft have a decent promotion going on for Wii U games. These are the eShop versions only, no retail sales (as far as I know.)

I have to wonder if this is more fan appeasement for the Rayman Legends fiasco. Could be? If so, at least we can say that Ubisoft isn't ignoring us.

This is a limited time offer from 2/19 to 2/26.

ZombiU - $41.99
Assassin's Creed III - $41.99
Just Dance 4 - $34.99
Rabbids Land - $34.99
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved - $34.99
ESPN: Sports Connection - $34.99

Beat me to it.

ZombiU actually seemed really cool from the demo, but I don't know if it's the kind of game I want to spend $40 on without the option of reselling later. A cool deal for anyone interested though. I hope they keep doing these kinds of sales.

And now I will get Zombi U.

This feels very much like, "Hey guys, don't forget we already released six games!"

Maybe they'll officially announce Watch Dogs on the day Rayman would've landed.

@Infinitywave

IGN just posted an article showing different retailers all having Watch Dog Wii U. Still no confirmation from Ubi, though.

I don't really want any of these, though.

I still haven't checked out the Zombi U demo.

Yea, nothing for me but very happy to see a sale on retail games on the eShop. Now let's hope we see a permanent price drop at some point when these games become harder to find at retail.

I'm a chick. Should I be playing Just Dance 4? I couldn't dance my way out of a wet paper bag.

It's a great sale, but I'm not sure I want any of these. I just got the Club Nintendo Paper Mario, and I'm eyeing Fire Emblem, so I should be busy for a little while.

Using the gamepad in Just Dance 4, you can draw crap on the TV screen while others are dancing. Nothing gets the party started like a giant dong on the screen.

I plan to support Ubisoft games 7 months after they've been released. That is if I still feel like wanting to play them afterwards.

I'll probably get ZombiU eventually but I think even $40 is a bit high for me to pay for a game. I'm sure it will be $30 or $20 somewhere soon enough.

I'm also not sure that I want to start doing digital downloads on everything until I have a better sense of how much it is going to cost me in storage.

Are they trying to save face?

They are still expensive. You can get the physical versions much cheaper.

@Cube191 Lowest I've seen Zombie U was $48 I think.

ZombiU is worth it... I'm just sayin'! Easily my favorite of the launch titles.

Is ACIII worth getting at that price point?

@TheOldManFromZelda
Not unless you know you will love it. AC games often drop in price rather quickly. Physical copies that is.

@TheOldManFromZelda

I didn't really enjoy ACIII. Granted, I didn't beat it, but like Pokefreak said they drop in price really quick. Wouldn't be surprised to see it at $20 by August.

Just bought ZombiU. Going to take TWENTY ONE HOURS to download...I'm feeling something is wrong with my internet. Haven't been able to play Borderlands 2 very well recently (or at all) with friends online. The NBA 2k13 demo took over three hours to download and was only 1gb.

Probably time for a reset.

Maybe not...speedtest.net has me at 17.5Mb/s down and 3Mb/s up.

30% off of a REAL game? The healing would begin. 30% off a DIGITAL game? .... c'mon.... Ubisoft still isn't really GIVING us anything...

@Pokefreak911

I'm just hoping eShop prices drop when retail prices do. It looks like they might since Little Inferno is now $9.99 (down from its original asking price of $14.99).

@Wellsy529

Maybe. I think we tend to overstate the impact of decisions like Ubi made in the case of Rayman. Everyone and their mother "hates" EA, Activision, Bobby Kotick, lots of people rag on Ubisoft's record for putting out crapware, etc., yet their big franchises sell like crazy.

If Rayman bombs, it's going to be because they decided to delay a finished product for a synchronous release on 3 platforms, 2 of which are 1) on their way out 2) having GTA V released within weeks of Rayman's launch

Considering that Origins didn't sell like gangbusters, having it compete with GTA is going to be much more of a blow than fan scorn.

@NinSage

Digital isn't real?
