That sucks that Pikmin is delayed. It was the one big game I was planing on buying next.

HarmoKnight! That's something.

But yeah, the coming months seem pretty bare. I got lots of catching up to do, but Nintendo shouldn't use that as an excuse!

Pikmin 3 noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Honestly though I don't mind, I need to get back into Xenoblade anyway.

I'd rather Pikmin 3 get delayed as opposed to rushed. I don't have a Wii U yet though

Pikmin 3 better be fucking good. How long has it been in development? It was first mentioned by Miyamoto in 2008. At the very least I expect lots of modes, so that the game can appease both the fans of the original and the sequel.

yawn. I was expecting Animal crossing, Yoshi wii u, Tvii date, maybe some kind of announcement....

@CPA Wei Well, me too of course. Still, that doesn't leave much i the upcoming months that I'm excited about. But it's fine. I'm starting to just look at buying a console at launch as a "soft launch" type deal anyway. It usually takes a bit before the best stuff pours out.

Yes, the lack of TVii was really surprising. Guess we can assume it's delayed!

It's a good idea not to get your hopes too high for these unless they're major console details (3DS, Wii U's pre-release stuff). They're meant to be chunks of Nintendo updates and rarely have really big game announcements. Q1 and 2 are usually slower for the game industry--things heat up with E3, as always.

Lego city, rayman, wii fit u, wonderful 101, and pikmin 3 are being spaced out ruthlessly.

I'm a little surprised that TVii wasn't mentioned at all...

Harmoknight coming to NA! I'm satisfied.

Definitely interested in that HarmoKnight game. I dig me some rhythm games.

It's funny, because the music/rhythm games from last gen largely used "real" songs (i.e. stuff you'd hear on the radio). The Guitar Hero, Rock Band games all did, as well as Elite Beat Agents. Even Jam With The Band used songs like that, though it was only instrumental. (the outlier of this group is Rhythm Heaven, but it's only one exception)

But this gen, all the music games use their own soundtrack. Rhythm Thief, Theatrhythm and now HarmoKnight. Interesting.

Haha, why were some of you guys expecting a ton of new games to be mentioned? Did you fall for Mop's "joke?" (now I really dont' know) post? I expected "release dates" and maybe some stuff about TVii. I don't know, men (and women).. I mean, we're still in Month 1.

Is anyone getting rad Ninja Gaiden? That might be a Christmas choice for me. And Warriors Orochi.

@Jargon

Hey, if E3 has taught us something, people don't care about games being announced WAY before they come out. You/we can thank everyone who has let them know that they're ok with that stuff. I would've been content with Pikmin 3 being mentioned just once this past year.

@warerare

I love it.

Though I'm a little disappointed that they went with a vegetable.

Pretty sure Pikmin is done. But if the Wii U is selling out they will wait to push its momentum afterwards. They can't wait forever, but delaying for a few months definitely makes the most sense.

I bet Lego is just still tweaking things, and I am sure Nintendo is trying to get P-100 and Lego to not release right next to each other and telling them to wait and be patient. I don't like it, but I understand. Also, the more they can push back without effecting Wii U sales the bigger E3 will be announcing new stuff. Unfortunately, they are getting just too good at realizing they need to release at most 3 games per year. That said, I don't have all the coins in Mario yet and I still need some stars in Nintendo-Land. I think I will be okay.

RELEASE PIKMIN NOOBS!!!! Screw logic!

I was waiting on Wonderful 101 in the New Year but now it looks like it may be pushed back and Lego will be out first. Smart move Nintendo as that is probably where my money will go. Lego in Feb, Monster Hunter in March and then Wonderful 101 in April, Pikmin 3 in May ready for E3 in June.

That is how I see it going.

@Mr_Mustache
I have Ninja Gaiden 3 on Wii U. It's actually pretty fun but holy crap is it hard. I remember eventually finishing the "first" game on the Xbox, but I'm having trouble pretty early on in this one.
