Bill Trinen with 15 minute Wii U interface video

Really informative stuff! It's mostly going over what the Japanese Nintendo Direct showed earlier, but a lot of neat details have surfaced regarding Miiverse and other interface things. About half of the video is the preview of the guy looking up flying squirrels, but there's still plenty to enjoy if you've seen that already. Check it out and get HYYYYPED for Sunday!

@Wellsy529 That's what I was wondering. And the spoiler system doesn't really prevent people from seeing spoilers, though like Bill said, it does 'minimize' the chance that someone will see a spoiler.

Honestly, if possible, I'll likely be disabling all of that stuff. I'd maybe like to see your guys' comments, but I definitely don't want the gaming internet to be intruding on my games.

@PogueSquadron well he did say in the miiverse there a "others" tab that lets you only see messages from your friends or people you follow.

I think this system is great and that the miiverse is a great way to take nintendos online, it's different than what then other two are doing, an I think it's better. It's a forum built in to the console.

@warerare the sad thing is, I can see myself using the miiverse more than NW. All depends on how it is set up and how good the community there is. Nothing beats our in depth discussion on games here; however, for small stuff, I will probably just ask the miiverse. But i will #negativeworld.org as much as i can on there....

@Scrawnton

Have we got any confirmation of groups yet, I hope we can setup a Negative World area of Miiverse.

Those who leave NW for Miiverse may not return. Enjoy your 100 character limit.

@Renjaku

Pfft, real men handwrite their messages! Gives 'em far more personality. I don't even know if you can type on Swapnote, and I don't care!

I believe there is a filtering system for universal messages... of course, that won't stop your friends from drawing penises on your wall.

Just watched it, and I have to say I like how it works. It leaves itself in the game universe and doesn't go elsewhere (like Facebook). I also dig the implementation in Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U.

@GameDadGrant

I was wondering that myself.

@GelatinousEncore

I suppose that would make sense with their Wii Fit/Personal Trainer/Brain Age games over the past generation...

I'm still wondering what's going to happen when I call Nintendo and raise hell about the 10 VC games I have on my broken Wii that I'd like to transfer. haha my Wii has been broken for so long I don't even remember which ones I downloaded...in the end I know it only cost me about 75 bucks for all of them, but I'd really like them back somehow.

@GameDadGrant

Nintendo has such an amazing sense of humor when they choose to use it. I love how they pretend to take it completely seriously.
