Why not sign up for a (free) account?

I've been playing 2 Fast 4 Gnomz, and it's not as terrible as the obnoxious title would lead you to believe. It's kind of like BIT.TRIP RUNNER, but less rhytmic, slightly more free-flowing. I still don't think it's great, but at $5 it's more than decent.

I've written a review but it hasn't been posted yet.

Isn't the Style Savvy demo already out? I'm pretty sure I already have it on my SD card...?

Enough with the DSiWare...

@GameDadGrant
It's a different demo, this one focuses on the shop aspect.

@anon_mastermind

Why? Any game that can be played on the DSi should be released as DSiWare so the maximum amount of people can play it. The fact that Virtual Console is not available on DSi when the games could obviously play on them already annoys me. That shouldn't expand to the eShop.

DSiWare games are mostly crap though.

@Jargon

Total aside, but the word "play" is linked to an ad in your post. At least from my browser...

EDIT: As is "cake" in my OP.

@Guillaume
This is a port of the WiiWare game, right? The demo of that was fun enough.

Will Freakyforms import data?

...

Does anyone need MORE Freakyforms??

@Anand

Apparently, FreakyForms did pretty well on the eShop, so there is apparently an audience for it. I guess...?

Maybe more off-beat games can do well on the eShop. I wonder if an Elite Beat Agents would do well on the eShop?

Even though I'm still enjoying Liberation Maiden and I'm only 6 hrs. into Layton, I'm still bummed there is nothing that interests me this week. Nintendo has me trained well, Thursday night, want new game.... if I need it or not!

Yeah. I mean, FreakyForms is supposed to be fun for a certain audience, but...

@ludist210

You have the same weird thing that I got the other day! I swear Negative World may be causing it. Did you click on More Content that Might Interest You at any point? Because after I did that, I noticed the links starting to pop up.

I got rid of it by disabling plug ins and add ons that sounded sketchy.

Last week's selection was just so great that this week seems blah by comparison. That's okay though since I have 4000 games to catch up on.

I'm somewhat relieved I want nothing this week.

@Deerock69

This is how I feel every week. I really think the handheld scene is not for me. Last game I bought was RE Revelations waaay back in the spring along with a few other 3DS games. I've never played any of them. If it wasn't for the 3D I would have never bought this handheld. Now there are games coming out that don't even use the 3D effect. I have a feeling, sooner or later I will be selling my 3DS on ebay. Plus, the games are just waaaay too expensive at $40.

If I do plan on keeping it, all the games I will buy will be used. I don't feel that any game I've bought is worth the $40 bones. Even the Nintendo developed games. Plus, with the Wii U coming out, there will not be extra money for the handheld. Only thing I use it for is listening to music and podcasts. So, I bascially own a $200 mp3 player.

Anyone else here playing Liberation Maiden? The final boss is so damn hard, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do! Grr...

Neat game though, I really like it.

I believe I'm on the last stage, but then Zero Escape came along and then...yeah.

@gamewizard65

If you don't think they're worth it, then there truly is not enough REvelaitons and Zero Escape in your life. They're worth the price of full-blown console titles.

Oh man, just beat it, it's so fun, you should play the last level, it get's so over the top, including an hilarious J-Pop song with lyrics by Suda 51 himself. So good.

PS: the game is insanely short, like 2 hours, but I immediately started a new game to play it through again, now that I have the game systems figured out I'm going to get much better scores and be able to unlock a lot more stuff in the gallery. This game needs a sequel!

I'm with you in regards to the length. I'm all about getting higher scores on games like this, and it certainly isn't bad on the eyes. Its amazing to me that I'll but up to over 100 games on tap at all times on my 3DS (including the game in the slot, of course). If it wasn't for my 3DS, I wouldn't really be gaming much at all. I've basically written of the Wii U as a Christmas present for my kids, with me popping in Zombie U on occasion when they're sleeping. Of course, it will be fun to help them with Mario if/when they need it.

Oh BTW, if you have trouble on that last boss in LM this is what happened to me: when you're playing if you back off a little to avoid his attacks your little helper dude will say "get closer, you can't damage him from this far away", don't listen to him, he's lying, if you get in close your dead, you have to say back a little in order to dodge these mega-screen-filling attacks, and you can definitely target and hit the correct areas from a good distance, in fact it helps see the targets a little clearer if you're far enough away that you can see the entire boss on screeen. I died like ten times in a row before I realized what was happening, I guess I'm kind of an idiot but if it the game is yelling "you can't do damage from this far away" in your ear repeatedly I assumed I wasn't doing any damage.
