Treasure is working on a 3DS exclusive

Veteran studio Treasure - the team behind the amazing Sin and Punishment: Star Successor - has confirmed that it is working on a 3DS exclusive.

Speaking to UK magazine gamesTM, Treasure CEO Masato Maegawa revealed the exciting news:


We are making a new game on Nintendo 3DS now. Not multiplatform, but exclusive to 3DS.

When asked if it was an action title, Maegawa responded in the affirmative

Yeah, it actually made me more interested in the license. Best licensed game of all time? Perhaps...

Perhaps, although the SNES and NES had some good Licensed games.

Definitely, but I don't think they actually made me more interested in the license. That could have been a function of my age, but probably not.

Treasure does really well with licensed games. The BLEACH games on DS are fantastic, and would stand on their own as solid games even without the anime tie-in. Speaking of Treasure and BLEACH...

...whatever happened to that Wii fighting game they were working on? It was like this third-person, over the shoulder one-on-one fighting game from Treasure, but I don't think it ever came out?
