I've played some Robot Rescue 2 and it's really good if you like hard puzzles, especially for $2. Though it's probably best to start with the first one first. I assume it's easier.

Mario Golf is a little pricey. Is it worth it if I already have Toadstool Tour?

@TriforceBun

I recently heard someone say it was much superior to the GBA game but from what I remember, they're mostly the same. Still, five bucks. The only questions you have to answer for yourself are a) can I spare $5 and b) do I feel like going through a Mario Golf game.

The biggest bummer is that we'll never be able to unlock the characters that you could unlock by using that weird GB pak with the N64 game. Then again, I could never unlock them when I had the actual cartridge, either.

Nintendo should do the right thing and unlock them by default. I'm sure they can.

Hmm, I can't find any info on characters you can only unlock by using the transfer pack with the N64 version, so I might have that wrong.

Mario Tennis, however, locked Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi and Bowser unless you used the transfer pack with the N64 version. Maybe that's why I'm confused.

Anyway, if no characters are locked forever in Mario Golf, great!

Wait, which Mario Golf is this? The N64??

The Game Boy Color version.

@Abdooooo

Click the source, it's the GBC game.

Maybe I worded my post poorly: using the transfer pack with both Mario Tennis games (GBC and N64) would unlock stuff on both games.

It looks like using the transfer pack with Mario Golf only allowed you to use your GBC characters in the N64 game.

@Guillaume

Hmm...good call...reading the source. I don't know, I'll wait to see if it goes on sale.

I'll pick up Mario Golf and Toki Tori, two wonderfully colourful GameBoy games, this week. GBC was my first handheld, and though I didn't own too many games, I really appreciated its ability to output colourful graphics. So much more appealing than the original Game Boy.

OH SHIZZ... LAST BLADE 2?

Seriously, I had this on my DC, didn't realize it was up for VC release. I may need to grab that sooner than later. :D

I might pick up Mario Golf. Last Blade 2...I didn't know was a DC title. Hmm. Seems to have scored well, too. I may need to snag this.

I have already picked up Cave Story 3DS and will be happily downloading the patch. I'm so weak. Cave Story is soooooo good!

Every Thursday is like Christmas if you're a Neo Geo fighting game fan.

By the way, I don't know if you guys ever actually watch the Nintendo Show 3D, but if you do...keep an eye out for the image at the very end of the video. The 3D there is AMAZING. Not even kidding.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!?

I also had this game on Dreamcast, and I'm seriously considering downloading this for Wii as well. Why not, right? *sigh* It's good to see another fighting game fan here on these boards. I think you and I are really the only ones...

I watch Nintendo Show 3D every week, it's great.

I haven't watched Nintendo Show in so long. I just forgot that it existed. They should make it an app.

@Guillaume
Yeah, I think they ultimately only did it for Tennis. They welched on the Golf version.

I can't remember whether or not I have Mario Golf GBC... I think I do. Doesn't it have the same courses as the GBA version?

I picked up Mario Golf and the LOTR demo. Mario Golf is still awesome as it was on the GBC. The LOTR demo is fun from what I played but man the ring spinning during loading is f'ing awesome. Some of the best 3D I have seen on the 3DS. Nice pop out effect.

I might go ahead and bite the big five bucks (!!) for Mario Golf. Craig-IGN gave it a 10, after all!

*HIGH FIVE*

@TriforceBun

It's $5. Skip the five dollar foot-long at Subway* this week and get a game that'll last you for MONTHS!

*not sure if you actually frequent Subway or not, but you know what I'm getting at?
