    The trailer for Touch Battle Tank 3D is hilarious to me. It goes on for super long, completely destroying any hope that there are less basic levels in the game. It explains the controls as if we had never seen them before and pretends they're original. It's horrible.

    I'll buy super Mario land 2. Never played/owned it. Plus I have $5 in eshop cash on my system.

    Super Mario Land 2 come to papa!

    Commando: Steel Disaster sounds hilarious just from the title, will check out...

    @Scrawnton

    It's fun! More like a console Mario than the first Super Mario Land, but still unique.

    Oh wow, Commando: Steel Disaster on DSiWare?!? That's great!

    That game is basically a Metal Slug rip-off. And it's not anywhere as good as SNK's classic franchise, but for $8? I might bite.

    @ludist210

    Wait, how is Super Mario Land NOT like a console Mario?

    @ludist210 Totally agree. Absolutely worth $3 (heck, everyone should have bought it for $4).

    Here's a video of Commando: Steel Disaster by the way. I think you can see the Metal Slug "inspiration" here.

    @GameDadGrant Maybe he means that Super Mario Land 2 is more like the other Mario platformers? Unlike the original game, you actually have regular koopa shells and fireballs and stuff.

    @X-pert74

    Perhaps. It's kind of funny, because the very first, introductory stage in Six Golden Coins is basically a "normal" Super Mario game. The only enemies you find in that stage are Goombas, Koopa-Troopas, and Pirahna Plants. And you only get the Fire Flower as your power-up; no Bunny Ears in that first stage.

    It almost seems like the team wanted to ease players in with familiar console Mario gameplay first. .... also something interesting? That first stage? You enter in through a Mushroom. Perhaps it's a gateway to/from the Mushroom Kingdom?

    @X-pert74

    That's what I meant. It feels more Mario than Mario Land 1 does. That does not make Mario Land 1 a bad game (it's one I enjoy and still pick up on a somewhat regular basis), it's just different...

    Meh... good thing I still have Kid Icarus, Wario Land and Mole Mania to play.
