Hey guys!

It's time for a new installment of the NegativeWorld podcast. This episode, Anand & Zero sit with NinSage, hosting-solo this time, and talk about the news, the recent Montréal meetup & their WiiU experiences at a recent Chicago event.

As usual, the theme music comes from Negative World's owner and dictator, Zero. The interlude's musics are taken from Pokémon Pearl/Diamond.

Comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, the host, etc. on Negative World! Or, be go ahead and post them on Facebook or Twitter instead.

You can find an enhanced version of this podcast with chapters and art at Negative World Podcast Enhanced or on iTunes.

Why not sign up for a (free) account and create your own content?

Oh I know. I have it on that too. But I thought you liked VVVVVV before 3DS.

Nah never played it before 3DS. I'm sure it's great on PC though. And cheaper. And has a level editor and way more user stages.

Thanks, buddy!

As for the Meet-Up, I bet that what happens in Montreal stays in Montreal =P

Hope to see you sign up for PKMN Society soon!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Zero briefly said something about 'oh, we also went out and did stuff besides play games' but it wasn't really discussed. But I liked hearing about the games everyone got to play together, so it's cool.

But otherwise, it would've been four hours!! Last year, we talked about the meetup more, but it seemed like it was a little too Inside Baseball for some people. I mean, what if somebody OUTSIDE the site was listening?

Does anyone outside the site listen??

Maybe we should try to publicize a bit, again. I wonder if anyone who listens to RFN tried out the podcast after Gui's defection.

EDIT: Very good podcast guys. I felt it was abit a shame that the Montreal Meet-up discussion was basically a "what you've been playing 2". Oh well.
Plus, you did cut the Octopussy bit...

Haha, doesn't defection have an equally negative connotation?

@Zero VVVVVV is awesome on both.

That is my contribution to this thread.

Oh, great podcast too by the way! You guys really made me want to go to the next NW meet-up. I would have gone to this one if I could get the time off of work. And I want to go to the Chicago meet-up too.....

Come! I'm sure Chicago will be pretty low-key. If it ever happens...

Yeah let's do this Chicago thing, soon! I'm free pretty much all of August weekends except for Saturday, August 25. Come on down Rebonack! When are you free?

As the new co-host, I fully support Gui's decision

Also, I vote for Chicago as a future meet-up destination. Other than Rochester, of course.

Now then, Confirm or Deny: "VVVVVV" is the most obscure/cumbersome game title ever.

It's certainly difficult to say out loud without sounding like a fool.

So the other day I was playing vee vee vee vee vee vee.

"Lotsa V's" or "V Six Times!"

If I say it out loud to someone I usually just call it "veeeeeeeeeee." If they don't know what game I'm talking about I blame the folks who named it, not myself. =P

What about "V6"? Is that too "90s x-treme!" sounding? or does it sound too automotive?

VVVVVV is even worse than that game that's just called D.

@Mop it up
Speaking of which, Kenji Eno is a fascinating man. That article is long, but it's worth it.

Did you guys know that he showed up to a Sony event and showed the Sony logo MORPHING into the Sega logo? And then announced that he was moving his project over to Sega? Ice cold.

He even paid someone to create that animation!!

That's why I included that tantalizing anecdote! Seriously, dude's pretty interesting. There's so much bridge ash in his wake.

I got the time to read that, and watch a let's play of D. =3
