Why not sign up for a (free) account?

20 bucks, easy. Pheonix Wright Wiiware.....is this all 3 Pheonix (Justice for all, Trial and Tribulation and Apollo Justice) or just 1? If it's all 3, 10 bucks is a steal IMO.

ShadowPlay sounds really interesting - it has Wii MotionPlus support too.

I wish there were regular demos with these releases...

Heads up: Phoenix Wright on WiiWare won't include the bonus episode featured in the DS release. The bonus episode will be released at a later point in the future for 100 Nintendo Points (if I recall correctly) as downloadable content.

Chronos Twin for me, eventually. Looks promising.

@Pandareus

No doubt. Is this the same as the DS version with slightly better visuals maybe?

No doubt, thought that makes little difference for us, the damn thing was never released in North America.

I gotta say, I'm slightly pissed about the VC game of the week. Maybe I'm completely wrong about who the audience for the VC is, but I can't see them buying a Genesis Mahjong game.

Seems to me it's a niche that would be better served on Wiiware, anyway, with point-and-click controls.

I've always thought Mahjong solitaire on WiiWare and especially DSiWare would be a killer app. I wonder if iPhone has one...

You now have no excuse to miss out on Phoenix Wright any longer.

Well, the third and final game I bought tonight during my Wiiware spending spree was Chronos Twins DX. I've only played for about 20 minutes, sadly. Only enough to be subjected to a pretty silly story, go through a cool intro level in the vein of Super Metroid, and get used to the basic idea behind the game in the first real level.

Keeping an eye on both halves of the screen at all times hasn't been to hard so far, but it's way too early to call anything, here.

At any rate, the graphics are decent. Your character is a sprite but most of the environments and enemies are 3d. Looks good for a Wiiware game, but it's no LostWinds.

Sounds cool. Do you know which is supposed to be better, between the DSiWare and WiiWare versions? It seems really suited for the DS, but the Wii has that snazzy "DX" suffix...

I have both versions. I got the Wii version thinking this would be my only shot at it, but then when I checked out the DSiWare, it was on there, too. Oops. Anyway, the WiiWare version definitely has the spruced up visuals, for what they are. Everything on the DS is 2D sprites, but it looks nice and seems more suited to the game. In particular, it is easier to make out low-lying enemies on the ground as opposed to the Wii version.

To the game, it will mess with your head. I really like the challenge, and this game packs a wallop on that front. Its not unfair, per se, but you're going to die and say 'Huh, how about that?' an awful lot. Actually, from what I've played so far, there has been something that struck me as cheap. There are these expanding/contracting blobs that you have to navigate successfully on both screens. The cheap part to them is that if they catch you in either one, I have not been successfully able to escape from one until it has killed me. Kinda not liking that much.

But overall, I really appreciate the quality of the title. These are the same guys that made Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ, so if that's the old-school type of difficulty you're into, then you should also give this one a look. Its not like 500 points on the DS version is too much to give it a shot. Isn't that about the price of a rental?

Haha, you might be the only person in the world with both versions. You should import the DS cart, too, just to round out the collection.

So you're saying the DSiWare version is probably better? The content is the same, right?

Inasmuch as I can tell, it seems like exactly the same game. It just seems like more of a natural fit on the DS with its dual-screened gameplay, though. Go figure, right?

EDIT- Am actively looking to import it, too. (jokes)
