Straight from WayForward themselves, the update, which includes 5 new levels, will be coming this Thursday to everyone who owns or downloads the game. Here's the full list of updates:

5 all new bonus levels
Enhanced stereoscopic effect to all previous levels
By popular request, a “retry” button for dedicated speed runners

Though we already knew it was coming, the retry button will definitely be helpful for those that want to 100% the game. Curious to see what the enhanced 3D will look like as it was already a very clean and sharp 3D effect.

Update is live! Upon booting up the eShop, it immediately brings up a screen notifying you of updates to current software. Nice!

It seems to redownload the whole thing though, sitting at just a bit over 1800 blocks.

That's over 225 MB. Wow! I'm glad Nintendo finally rescinded that silly 40 MB limit on the eShop.

I'm thinking I might download this tonight.

Has anyone given the extra levels a shot yet? I'm stuck on level 4... one of the prisoners has a path I cannot figure out at all. I've looked everywhere and nothing!

Have you figured it out? There are two switches on the bottom left and right, and two switches on the top left and right.
