@Guillaume

Hm, you've really dug into Nintendo World Report, eh?

And yeah, saw that news on the eShop today. It's cool that the drought is ending, but man! Why this Kirby game? What's the hold up with freakin' Wario Land, for crying out loud.

Hey, do any of your buddies over at NWR have any contacts over at Nintendo that they can ask WTF is going on here?

@Guillaume

No more Game Clubs for you until you finish the one(s) you're in.

@Zero and @VofEscaflowne

@Zero I haven't seen a single scroll bar anywhere on this site. I'm on Firefox, by the way.

I got Wonder Boy in Monster Land rather than Monster World IV since it's an Arcade game and I've always wanted one of those.

It's pretty good! It has a nice art style, and the progression is linear with some minor exploration for hidden items. Combat is pretty straightforward but can be very twitchy and difficult at times. There are some optional battles. You buy upgrades with your money.

Edit: I also picked up Bird Mania 3D on the eShop. It's alright for a 2-dollar game. It's basically a pure endless score attack game, with achievements. Something you would get for 99 cents on the iPhone. Controls better though because of buttons. 3D is pleasant.

So are we going to do a RGC for Wonder Boy in Monster Land or what?!

If someone makes one.

It was your idea! But you're uber busy now, I know. Hmm, I wouldn't want to step on any toes and say RETRO GAME CLUB 10. When it wasn't my thing. But it appears that there hasn't been one in a few months anyway.

I wonder what the interest would be if it was just assigned and not voted on.

@Zero

Try it! Although last time there was no vote, it was for Metroid II, and even I stopped participating after a while.

And yeah, you guys go ahead and make some new official RGC, I just won't have time from now on.

I'll participate!

I say that every time and never do, though...
