Two VC imports are available on the Wii, and Nintendo again misses the mark on the eShop this week...unless you want Sudoku. In which case, you're set!

eShop Exclusives
Sudoku by Nikoli
(3DS Download - Hamster Corporation, $4.99)

DSiWare (also available in the eShop)
Paul's Shooting Adventure 2
(Agetec, 200 points/$1.99)

Wii Virtual Console
Monster World IV
(SEGA, 900 points)
Wonder Boy in Monster Land (SEGA, 900 points)

Source.

At least I'm not disappointed at the lack of 3DS VC love this week, since at least three of those games had already been announced as coming today.

Well, that's a lie. I'm still disappointed, just not surprised.

Yeah, this week's lack of 3DS VC update is a little easier to swallow because the Wii's is pretty good. Still stinks though.

So they can take the time to localize games that never released outside of Japan but can't be bothered to bring Lufia II to the VC?

I don't suppose someone wants to start a game club for Monster World?

I'd be down. Wonder Boy is the only Retro Game Club game I've actually finished, I think. Although I've participated in a bunch of them.

Does anyone know which of these two is supposed to be the "superior" game?

I wasn't even aware that Paul had a FIRST shooting adventure before.

@GameDadGrant

It's probably just a scam to make us believe that if the game received a sequel, then the first must have been good enough for it so the second must be good too!

Two Wii VC titles, it must still be 2007 or something. Cool.

As for the eShop I'm not interested in Sudoku, so I'm probably going to get Ketzal's Corridors this week, and most likely Bird Mania 3D as well. Can't complain much about the eShop when there are a ton of solid titles already up there.

@Guillaume
I'm down!

@Zero
I'd like to know which one is "better" as well. From the screenshots, I like the HUD on Monster World IV better.

If anyone was wondering what the QR codes for the eShop are, apparently this is it

I think that's Europe only but I believe it just brings you to the page of the game in question, in this case VVVVVV.

Cause you know, having a competent eShop layout is inconvenient compared to scanning QR codes

@GameDadGrant It's a QR code with the orange eShop symbol in it.

Making these 'imported' games an extra dollar is still the dumbest thing in the world to me.

@PogueSquadron

In this case one of them is freshly translated, at least.

The Game Boy drought ends next week. Well, maybe "end" is not the right word, but it will take a break at least.

@Guillaume
It's kind of bitter-sweet since EU is getting the no-doubt better game in Kirby's Dreamland 2 next week.

@GuillaumeAnd now I'm seeing a scroll bar on your post too.

I'm not the only one seeing these, am I guys?! And I saw them both at home and now on my work computer, so it can't be an isolated incident.

@Zero

I'm seeing it too. It's happened a few times in different threads where I see a scroll bar on certain posts.
