Our brains must think alike. Scary. Seriously, when I was watching that, I was think Castlevania as well. Even the way the main character moved reminded me of Simon Belmont from Snes Castlevania.
But regardless, the game looks fun. Seriously, I would be foolish to download this game. I have sooooo many games I need to play. I feel bad, cause I would like to try this out, since I never owned any of Sega's systems. I would like to support the game, but honestly, when would I get around to playing it?
Wow, our brains must REALLY think alike - I was thinking I'd like to download this too, but I couldn't justify it since I have no idea when I'd get around to it. I still have other games I need to/I'd like to finish before buying up any more. (yet I have Kid Icarus pre-ordered and paid off already, and it comes out next week!)
But yeah, we're totally on the same wavelength. I'd love to support and play this game, but like you, I have no clue when I'd actually play it.
Same here... they should've released Kid Icarus NES this week and the GB one the next or something. I already own a copy for the Wii as I'm sure a lot of other people do as well. The GB one is the one that's not readily available to most people!
I hear ya. Speaking of Kid Icarus for the 3DS. I know it will be released next week, but I really don't have much interest in this game. I never played the original one, except I did download it on the VC and I tried playing it, but it justs seems kindof, 'meh'.
Now, thats not why I am not interested in the 3D version. Im not interested cause I honestly have no idea what style of game Kid Icarus is going to be! Seriously, from the handful of videos Ive seen, it looks like some sort of onrail game like Starfox 64. I could be wrong, but I loved SF64. I guess I just never got on the KI hype train.
The videos I have seen, I will admit the game looks gorgeous, but its just not grabbing me.
In any case, Dragon Crystal is easily the strongest of the Game Gear debut titles to hit Virtual Console this week, although it's also the most acquired taste. At the very least, it's the only one I wanted to keep playing after an hour. But then again, I've grown to be quite the masochist over the past few years.
