I assume Swap Note is still part of this but just not listed...? Or are we getting it late?

Nice!! I'll definitely be downloading Mighty Switch Force and Tetris!

I know NintendoLife tweeted today that it wouldn't be available in North America yet, but that might be because it's not listed. So who knows?

I feel bad for the games coming out for the eShop at the moment. I want to support these guys and load up my 3DS with games, but I feel I should finish some GBA games first.

The timing is kinda terrible.

The eShop really is killing it lately. Pushmo, FreakyForms, Mighty Switch Force, the GBA games, Tetris, Metroid II, and plenty coming up in early '12 like Mutant Mudds and VVVVVV. Not to mention retail releases like Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Shinobi...

Weren't you the one who was worried that the NES games would cannibalize the sales of GB games, essentially killing off the VC? And now you're letting GBA games get in the way of new, original content? For shame.

@rebonack

I was afraid Nintendo would re-release NES games again at the expense of other retro games that hadn't had their chance yet. There's a nuance!

I suppose there is. Re-releasing GBA games at the expense of new games that haven't had their chance yet is very different

In all seriousness, it is unfortunate that all this awesomeness is coming at the same time. People bitched about there only being DSiWare in the shop for months, and now there's so much good stuff I can't play it all.

Haha.

I like retro gaming, what can I say. And I want more old games I haven't played yet to be released. Is that so wrong?

Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and delete Metroid Fusion, Yoshi's Island and the other games I've played before off my 3DS SD card. It will make focusing on new stuff easier.

I still need to get Pushmo and then Mighty Switch Force comes along. My wallet can't take it Nintendo.

@Guillaume I love retro gaming too. This is why I was thrilled to play Gargoyle's Quest for the first time.

Metroid Fusion is so good though... and you can beat it in like three hours. Might as well just play through it... again... I think I'm talking to myself now.

@rebonack

I'm with you. The GBA games coming out, Pushmo, not to mention my freebie (Mario VS. DK DSi) and other DSiWare purchases AND Mario Kart 7...I've got too much to play right now. A great problem considering my finances are tightening up next year.

That's a nice price for Mighty Switch Force, it's actually cheaper than WayForward's DSiWare games. I'll get it soon.

I was kind of looking forward to messing around with swap note... Still a little weird it's not coming to America yet....

Swapnote is up

@anon_mastermind Sounds pretty cool. I'm a pretty big fan of WayForward but Mighty Milky Way didn't quite do it for me the way Mighty Flip Champs and Shantae and Contra IV and A Boy and His Blob and yada yada did. I hope this one fits my style more.

How do you do 3D and different colors and stuff with Swapnote?

@Jargon

The more messages you send, the more features you unlock. I can send photos and draw in 3D now.

You have to unlock features in a messaging app? That's ridiculous. I also think it's ridiculous that you can't scan a QR code if you haven't advanced enough in Pushmo. Come on, let us do the cool stuff from the start, Nintendo.

Well it's not too bad. You seem to unlock a new feature with every message sent. Unless if you end up unlocking a new color for every message, then yeah, that would suck

Edot: Yea, I guess you could say it's more like a mandatory tutorial. Kind of lame, but not too annoying I guess.
