Why not sign up for a (free) account and create your own content?

So the burning question--what does this mean for ambassador games...?

Nothing on the Press page about them, but...I'd check your 3DS for SpotPasses later today? Just a hunch...surely all regions will get it at the same time?

I have a bad feeling that NOA will wait until next week because it's closer to Christmas... I hate to think that...

It's out in Japan and Australia, so it could really be any minute now. That's basically what happened with the NES games (and I don't think the press release covered it either).

Neat to be getting demos these days, although I'd like more of them in general.

@TriforceBunI hope they release here. I've a date with minish cap to go on. I have to return to my college campus tonight for a graduation dinner and ima take my 3ds, I am still searching offer my first street pass ever since I bought it at launch.....

Not a single StreetPass? Seriously?

Elite Forces was that retail Contra-like, right? Anyone have any experience with this version of Blaster Master? Is it a port?

Finally another GBC game. But I'm not even close to finishing Blaster Master NES, so I'll pass on this one for now.

Looks like we'll have to wait for Swapnote.

@AnandI never had one, I even take my 3ds to GameStop every time I went there and never got a street pass. It is set up to do to but I have yet to get one. I've never seen anyone in my area play a 3ds either. My 3ds is still the only one I've seen outside of demo units....

@Anand

Blaster Master: Enemy Below is not a port. It's an original game in the series made just for the Gameboy Color.

Also, see below a review for Elite Forces: Unit 77. He says it plays like a mix of Ikari Warriors and Commando... and control is apparently done with the touch screen + stylus.

@Scrawnton
If you're friendly with the employees there (which may mean a regular or otherwise) it may be worth it just to ask them if they have a 3DS :p

@GameDadGrant
Everything that you said sounds promising except for the stylus part.

Is Enemy Below good? Haha, I even have the PS1 Blaster Master, but I haven't played it.

@Anand

I've not played Blaster Master on Gameboy Color, but the portable gaming hero, Craig Harris, reviewed it on IGN. He gave it a 8.0, which by IGN standards means it's "Great." I trust Craig's opinions on games - he and I have similar taste in games. Check the review to see if it's something you might wanna check out!

EDIT: Gamespot gave it an 8.6, which would indicate the reviewer, Frank Provo, liked it even more than good ol' Craig-a-roo.

@Scrawnton

Don't feel bad. I take it everywhere as well and I've only gotten one. I took it to 4 stores during the weekend a couple of weeks ago and nothing. I'm expecting a lot to pop up after Christmas cause I imagine lots of kids will be getting some as gifts... then again the whole StreetPass feature doesn't feel like it's something someone would pay attention to.

And I just checked the download list and I still didn't see the games. Plus no Swap Note either? Must they always wait at the last minute of the month to release stuff when they say it'll be out before the end of the month?

Sweet. My tastes were also similar to Craig's (although he low-balled Contra 4!). It shall be mine. (Ooo, and it's in Color!)

A love letter to the series. Who knew it had so many entries?

@Scrawnton

The demo units can StreetPass. I actually get the bulk of mine from GameStop from the demo unit and three of the employees there. I've gotten a few random ones here and there (at dinner last week, at the Zoo on Saturday, and at the mall a few times), but mostly from my local GameStop. Best Buy and Target demo units can StreetPass too, just make sure the WiFi is enabled on them.

Now that's just sad. Like paying for sex.

Save yourself for the NW meet-up, instead! We'll streetpass with you...

Yeah, why pay for sex when you can get it for free at the meet-up?
