Why not sign up for a (free) account?

I loved the original Pilotwings but it might be tough to get into now. I do like how tough landing the plane is though, you need to actually plan an approach whereas in 64 / Resort you could come from pretty much any odd angle and pull it off.

Hmm. Starship Defense is pretty great for anyone interested. I reviewed it on the site somewhere.

Never managed to play Metroid 2, so I think I'll get that one.

Is it worth it for someone who's just sitting on coins to spend? Looks pretty funny.

I would say yes. It's worth it for a few laughs.

Last chance for Pilotwings, et al.

@Jargon

If it were Pilotwings 64, I'd be all over it.

I always wanted to try SNES Pilotwings. I'll bite since I have coins expiring.

Also, don't forget that DDP points will stop accumulating on January 1st, so if you're close enough to get a $5 code, you might as well drop some Club Nintendo coins on Pilotwings or Vegas Stakes (or wait until tomorrow's selections)

I just redeemed a $5 code in the Fall so I'm not sure if I can hit another before the end of the year. If I could redeem coins for VC games I have enough coins to give me another code.

It's Monday the 15th of December and the November prizes are still up. I wonder when they are going to change.

I feel like they've always changed on a Tuesday, even when the date was on another day? Or it could change later today. Wonder if we'll see anything fresh this month.

The new games usually come out on Mondays around noon eastern. Curious what they'll toss up there.

Pilotwings is pretty fun, if basic. I'm glad I got it since there's nothing else to spend my coins on.

New games are up, through January 19.

Wii U
200 coins - Kirby's Dream Land 3
200 coins - Metroid

Wii
250 coins - Super Mario Kart
250 coins - 1080 Snowboarding

3DS
150 coins - Radar Mission
150 coins - Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
150 coins - Bird & Beans
200 coins - A Kappa's Trail

Nothing for me this month.

I already own all of those. Except for A Kappa's Trail. So... I guess I'll get that!

I'm 31 points away from my last $5 code, so I'll get KDL3 even though I have it in other forms (same with Metroid). Unless there's anything interesting on sale on the eShop to buy.

Nice, I will grab KDL3. Weird that they offer the Wii version of Super Mario Kart, I guess they want that $1.50 upgrade fee lol.

Will get KDL3 since I never played it. How is it? I never played KDL2 either, should I play that first?

Metroid I have on 3DS, but I'll look into the DDP implications.

What is A Kappa's Tail?

Internet is down at work so I'll have to update the OP later.

I just remember hating KDL3 when I tried playing it before. I have a hard time getting into Kirby games that don't let you do multiple things with a single copy ability. I might bite on it out of curiosity. Kid Icarus could be another maybe but it's not really too too tempting. Looks like they don't have much of an offering this month, again.

Metroid is tempting but I'm not the biggest fan of how the NES games look/feel on Wii U.
