Yeah, I ordered the game holder case thing... looks very useful for traveling, being able to bring my library.

Damn it, Tranquilo! Why can't you like me for who I am!

Man, they're fast. My case has already shipped!

You're right guys. I double checked and I really like the Zelda themed one. That just might be my next "purchase". I actually wanted to get the Majora's Mask but I never got around to registering my 3DS. I guess I can use those points towards this.

As a side note, I'm a little annoyed that they won't or haven't restoked some of the prizes while they did others. I think it was last year, my club nintendo coins were about to expire and I ended up getting the tote bag because there was nothing else of substantial worth that merited ny attention. The reversible pouch was out of stock and I didn't think it would come back so I went ahead and ordered something else. Murphy's law made sure that the reversible pouches were re-stocked before my coins would have expired.

It's not like now where they have a notice on the bottom of the page telling you something is backordered, it was just unavailable like the Mario pins and I just assumed they wouldn't be made available anymore. That irked me a great deal.

@Zero
I can't do them all at once! I have to space them out wisely, to guarantee four more years of Platinum status!

@Anand

You can't do that anymore, you have to do the surveys sooner now. Nintendo wised up.

@Guillaume
You can still hoard unregistered codes.

@anon_mastermind

They say somewhere on the website you can't redeem codes from before 2010 or something. So they're reducing the window there, too.

@Anand But you buy like a million games! Although I suppose you do need to actually open them to get the codes out. And platinum status is pretty easy to get I think, especially now that digital games are all getting a bunch of surveys. Or at least, I know I buy a billion digital games.

I was sitting there thinking ok I have platinum status, I should stop now. But the reality is that I'm way too lazy to make myself do this kind of thing frequently. Yes, even once a year is too much for me. I just had a once in a lifetime spurt of energy and wanted to get it all done at once.

@Guillaume
WHAT? We should get to the bottom of this.

Nevertheless, the best course of action earlier on was to register the game and hold off on the survey. I think I did that for most everything, but I'm sure I still have some stuff sealed. You're scaring me.

As far as new games, is there any limit on when you can register them?

Getting 10 or 20 more coins wasn't really a big incentive before, but now that you can redeem them for games, it is.

@Zero
But I've been kind of lazy (intelligent) about buying new games lately. I used to actually go to Blockbuster and harvest codes from there, but that's no longer an option.

I dunno. I'm sure reaching Platinum wouldn't be a problem for me. The issue Gui just raised is stressing me out a lot more. Especially now that there's worthwhile rewards. GRAH!

Uh oh. I've got 4 codes that I'm hoarding for July. They'd better all work.

No interest in these two games.

@Guillaume

!
I have a few games from 2010 and prior that I've yet to register.

I might be wrong here, but I thought the window to redeem coins for actions like post-play surveys was up until 2014, at least I think it was in '09 when I registered a bunch of games.

Is this what you were referring to?

"Please note, systems purchased before May 2010 do not qualify for surveys or Coins."

I think it's only referring to systems, not games.
