Double Dragon for Game Boy leads the way in this week's unique Nintendo Download.

eShop Exclusives
Double Dragon
(Nintendo, Virtual Console, $3.99)
Dreamworks Animation Halloween Collection (Dreamworks, downloadable videos, $1.99 each)

DSiWare (also available in the eShop)
Castle Conqueror
(Circle Entertainment LTD, 500 points/$4.99)

WiiWare
Fish Tank
(iFun4all, 500 points)

Nintendo Video
Night of the Living Carrots
(Part 2)

Source.

I said unique because this is the first time that we've ever had videos for sale in the eShop. It shows Nintendo is at least adapting to the changing world of digital downloads.

I haven't bought a VC game in a LONG time. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it flourish though!

Part of the thing blocking me is re-buying games I bought years and years ago. There are SO many good games on the VC.
But games like Lufia, I never owned. Thats on my "I'm gonna buy it!" list. You know..after my college rosters...

My free time bank is going to explode once I finish that thing. And my brain will be happy and light!

Wouldn't you rather buy the cart, anyway?

@Guillaume
One of those NES Double Dragons is super awesome. Can't remember which one, though.

@Anand

I think Double Dragon 3 features Jimmy and Bimmy and is considered atrocious. DD2 doesn't look half bad.

Seriously, if Nintendo, Dreamworks or whoever wants to make some money on these videos, then they should be like .99 cents at the most. I seriously doubt anyone with half a brain would buy these at $2 a pop. Sure, the Dremworks video is really good, as it should be, but still. And even though muisic videos on itunes are $2, thats a little different as people, esp. kids like to listen to songs over and over.

More power to them if they think people will fork over $2 for these videos. Surely, they are not selling the blue man group stuff and if so, I would like to meet the tyoe of people that would pay for stuff like that....or maybe I wouldn't want to meet these people.

Um, disgruntled employee at Nintendo or something?

The games in that category are pretty standard, like Pac-Man Game Boy, or Shantae, or whatever. I don't see the link between them, what the "don't suck" means, even literally....

Pretty funny. I think?

@Anand

Yes, I would.

@Guillaume

Double Dragon II is regarded as the best. I think Double Dragon III is one thats sort of a black eye on the franchise.
Its been a while since I played any of them, and I was never a HUGE fan..so I could be wrong.

Double Dragon II has a REALLY good score on the 'ol NW. Check it oot!

I remember getting pretty far into Double Dragon 3 with my brother and then losing to the point where it kicked us back to the beginning of the game. Boy, if that didn't make me want to never play it again.
