Hmm...it is the only Metroid game I haven't played at a mere $4...but I don't really know if I'd like it based on what I've seen, and I've got plenty of other games to play, including Four Swords.

Well, I know one person who'll be ecstatic to hear this...

Sweet! Never got to play this. Glad I'll get the chance.

How long until the western release do you think?

Awesome news! I have to play through Metrod first, though, so I'll be buying it later.

Please don't fix this typo. It's quite appropriate, really.

Ah, the most pivotal entry in the entire series, now available for under five bucks. Good stuff.

Metroid II is awesome! Glad to see it'll be hitting sooner than expected (at least in Japan, and hopefully a western release won't be far behind).

It's way better than Metroid 1, I don't care what Anand says.

@rebonack

Not better than Metroid but it does have the one thing that Metroid desperately needs.

I probably won't buy it. Playing through it and making my own map was fun once but I don't think I'd want to do it again.

@kriswright

Yeah, Simba, where are you? We are talking about the same person...right?

Oh, wait, I don't think he has a 3DS.

@casper884

Nope. I was talking about my wife.

@kriswright

Oh! That's cool that she likes one of the most underrated Metriod games. I was beginning to think that its fans had vanquished.

Glad to see Metroid II out there. The GBC version of Metroid II is one of my favorite GBC games ever. I don't care much about the B&W GB version though. I am shallow like that.

Listen to the upcoming podcast. There's a pretty cool story about her wanting that game.

I'll be buying it. Though I feel like I should trudge through the rest of the original Metroid first. It doesn't even look that long, based on the map I'm looking at. Too bad you have to spend 10 minutes shooting guys that come out of pots every time you want full energy. Talk about artificially extending the length of a game...

Using a GameFaqs map, I have beaten the original Metroid in 45 min. Samus in her 8-bit bikini FTW!

@WrathOfSamus777

I did Zero Mission in under an hour. 100% completion in 2.

None of that compares to my 15% hard mode run though.

I'm finding the original Metroid to be uber obtuse. It makes me wonder how people finished it without cheating. But then again, you don't really need most of the stuff to finish it, do you? It's possible to finish the game and only have found like half the rooms?
