@VofEscaflowne I believe Fluidity was very late last year, maybe December. It's a shame there haven't even been any good VC games.

Was Fluidity this year...? I forget. And I did buy Super Adventure Island II... but VC titles doesn't count. Unless if it's Lufia II. DAMMIT NINTENDO! Fluidity was 2010. December, 2010. I guess you could count it....? I'll tell ya what though: if you like racing games or a good, hardcore SHMUP, check out: FAST: Racing League and/or Kyotokei. Fantastic games, both of them. FAST is the Wii's F-Zero, and Kyotokei is the Wii's Ikaruga. Ch-ch-check 'em out!

@ludist210Rebonack is being facetious. Those guys have turned twitter into a "let's get Rebonack to play some more FFIII" feed. Anyway, I'm sad to see people not too hyped for Skyward Sword. I'm more excited for it than I've been for a Zelda release ever. The bar wasn't set very high in the first place, but I believe that still says something.

Woo! A release date! I really like how they're handling the release of this game compared to Twilight Princess. There have been minimal details given, and most of the screens/videos are all from a few areas, minimizing spoilage. Plus there's no riduclous hype so when it blows us away it'll be a pleasant surprise. Get here faster, November! I haven't played Wii in so long

Good news. Is this the first time we've had a Mario and Zelda "main" adventure releasing in the same month?

I wasn't really excited for Skyward Sword until recently... but now I'm expecting it to be one of the best games in the series. If it isn't, perhaps Nintendo should either give it a rest for awhile or hand the series over to a new team.

@ShadowLink_89 I'm pretty sure Arkham City is October. Not that that's much better.Plus there's Super Mario 3D Land in November, and Mario Kart in December. This holiday season is packed.

Holy shit that's my birthday! Happy birthday to me! I'll probably still end up getting it for Christmas though, it would be a little weird to ask for a game that comes out right on my b-day, "Quick, go out and buy that game, and wrap it up before I wake up".

I'll probably still end up getting it for Christmas though, it would be a little weird to ask for a game that comes out right on my b-day, "Quick, go out and buy that game, and wrap it up before I wake up". You could ask in advance and someone could get it when they come home or over or something. I mean, I generally get peoples' gifts for them on the way to the birthday party/wedding/christmas/whatever. You seriously don't need to put that much thinking into gifting--even if you're thoughtful, still 50/50 they won't like it. Tell people that's what you want and when it comes out. It greatly increases the chances of you actually getting that item
