"The International Boogerman Summit" - A Special Boogercast for Boogerman Week
Podcast presented by
(Editor)
July 28, 2011, 21:56

C-SPAN Radio, Negative World and the entire international community (well, Canada, the U.S., and Argentina, anyway) present:

The International Boogerman Summit
(Right Click and choose "Save As")

Join Guillaume, GelatinousEncore and me as we discuss all things Boogerman, the greatest darn game ever made in 1994 about a superhero who throws boogers at people. This summit meeting is not recommended for Negative Worlders listening at work, at home, in their car, in a library, or anywhere within 400 feet of someone embarrassed by the sound of farting.

Or by anyone who demands a certain level of quality out of the podcasts they listen to.

Just roll with it. Pick it and flick it.

Cool. Rad. Booger.

@Anand

That's what you say before listening.

Let's see what you have to say after...

Downloading. I'll listen to it later on an empty stomach.

Oh and you should make this into a podcast article.

Front page, baby. I'm telling you, Boogerman is our ticket to eternal glory! Rad!

I was kinda hoping it would be a little more farcical than the fairly straightforward discussion that happened but still amusing dedicating that much time to a dud of a character. I'm surprised you didn't mention that he was also a secret character Clayfighter 63 1/3 for the N64.

@chrisbg99

I think we planned to be more farcical, but Boogerman crushed our souls. Thanks for listening though.

Also, I don't think we were too serious. I mean, did you hear the fart sounds?

In retrospect, maybe we should have just gone Monty Python on it and made it as wacky and random as possible. But, you know, I'm not going to spend any more time thinking about that. I've had enough of Boogerman's farts clouding my brain this week.

This was amusing.

Wow, 20 bucks? What a deal!

Rarity Guide

Boogerman apparently goes for $38ish on eBay. I just checked right now and the lowest one right now is $24.
Kris should be able to get his money back instantly, especally after this blockbuster podcast gets around.

I listened to it, it was fun. I agree though that it should have been more wacky.

Ugh, I know this isn't the art thread, but due to some other things going on, I didn't get to do any art for Boogerman. A little disappointed in myself that I couldn't do anything, but I hope everyone has fun with it.

@Mr_Mustache
I don't know if I could live with myself, making somebody pay more for Boogerman than I paid for it.

Oh, who am I kidding? Of course I could.

@Zero
Maybe I oversold it in the OP. Gui and I never intended the Boogercast to be a comedy sketch or anything, but maybe I made it sound like we really went for something crazy. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

EDIT: I did think my joke about C-SPAN playing 32 hours of an open microphone in the House of Representatives was pretty funny, though. If I do say so myself.

The seriousness turned the podcast into a meta-comedy IMO.
