For the first (and last) time, five NWers appear on the podcast! Listen to Hendrik (Jargon), Andrew (Zero), Santi (GelatinousEncore), Anand and Guillaume talk over each other as they attempt to discuss Metroid Prime, ignored gems on the Wii, the future of 2D games, and the evil of downloadable titles!
As usual, the theme music comes from Negative World's owner and dictator, Zero. The rest of the soundtrack is taken from Metroid Prime.
Comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, the host, etc. on Negative World! Or, be a weirdo and post them on Facebook or Twitter instead.
Multiplatform games fall from grace in my eyes because I presume each system has strengths and weaknesses, non exclusivity guarantees the game does not avail itself of *any* hardware strengths in an essential way. In theory. One version could be gimped, but that is pseudo exclusivity.
I'll have to make sure I listen to this soon. I also think you should change the name of the Podcast to the Super Negative World Podcast, haha, but that's just me.
Or how about Super Negative World 2: Yoshi's Island?
@Anand If it's just that matter no. But it's going to be only that matter usually isn't it? Not much variation among systems like with past gens, where say an N64 exclusive would mean something.
Yea else than Renjaku it seems like only people who were on the podcast have listened to it so far. Haha. I'd say it's because we love the sound of our own voice but I know that's not true...
Goddammit, I should've shit on it more. Plus, I forgot to mention how slowly Samus moves!
@Jargon We should have some kind of competition to see which of us hates the sound of our own voice most. The metrics would be kind of tricky, though...
I haven't had a chance to listen much of this episode yet, but it sounds like you guys had a blast doing this.
@Anand So far (in the edited version at least), you're doing a good job defending your position on why Prime is not without its faults. But let me keep listening...
